Yes. I have. Finally!
After several days of wallowing in self-pity and being unproductive, this is a relief.
I came home from the pub and wrote a 700 word plan for one section of my thesis. It's at least a baby-step in the right direction after days of staring blankly at the screen!
Feels good to have some goals to aim for.
I wish I could have more frequent meetings with my supervisor, they really do help to motivate me!

Yes - up at the crack of dawn, put out rubbish for collection and devised clever anti rook device (they have been attacking the bin bags and spreading nasty stuff up and down the street - find out if it works later...). Then picked up daughter and two grand daughters, took them to dental surgeon to have said daughter's broken molar taken out, back by 8:30 to get them breakfast and to minister to heavily drugged patient! Maybe I will soon qualify for honourary woman status! Also, last night I came up with an interesting, original and potentially long running idea for an alternative history book! Question is, what do I do with it? I intend to do some research but how do I go about writing a book? Draft out characters, locations and sub plots? I think there were some book writing threads round here somewhere...

Indeed I have.
I finished painting one nerf gun for a friend, and have upgraded and modded two others for myself. they are now drying after primer and the first coat of base. Tomorrow the painting will begin.

Put my winter coats away, and am now working on the rest of my clothes, finally putting the winter clothes to the back and taking the summer clothes more to the front. In the meantime I`m also doing laundry and just cleaning my room in general, because dear god it`s a total mess (and on 14 square meters "a mess" turns into "disaster area" quite quickly, unfortunately).
I really kind of feel like doing an actual spring cleaning (yes, I am aware that we`re halfway through spring already) and just throwing lots of junk out, but unfortunately my time today is very limited because of hanging out with friends later at the cinema.

Only half of a productive thing.
I have booked a nice apartment in Paris for the trip my husband and I are doing in July (for me to give a paper at construction history conference).
I HAVE NOT managed to persuade ####*&%$$%£ Eurostars' *&^%&^|$^& website to sell me tickets to get there tho. It keeps falling over before during or even after I think I have completed the process.
Yoiu would think they didnt want the business. No wonder I couldnt find a travel agent here to do it for me.

Completed the first project of my 'new' portfolio of architectural sketches/ design work. Started the second. I do like the way that just randomly sketching and scale drawing is becoming a normal pastime for me now

Took the recumbent bike for another spin last weekend. Saturday 56km at an average speed of 22km/h. Sunday again 56km at an average speed of 24km/h. The trip on sunday was one with less intersections and more straight ends. During the rides I pondered on putting fairings on the bike. When I go faster than about 20km/h, I start to feel drag.

Finished digging the garden and got loads of seeds planted ... after the weather stabilizes (i.e. no more snow) we'll plant the delicates (tomatoes, etc). Completely organic. I'm working on a design for a "greenhouse" that I can build over said delicates. Does anyone know where I can get a cutting of the plant from Shop of Horrors?
Yup ... just about ready for the Zombie Apocalypse

Worked on one of the final parts of my internship report (that`s nonetheless not nearly finished).
And I send out my first application for a job! I really don`t think I`m getting it, really, but at least I tried and they`ll have my contact information..just in case :p

Oh dear me no- I've done nothing productive today. Unless you count water pistol fights in the park?
Tomorrow though is going to be a VERY productive day.
I'm clearing my room and setting stuff up (and writing lists) now to ensure that it is.
Then If I get all the work I need done I'll be able to go to the cinema in the evening =]

Got three chapter's worth of Blueprints notes done, only four left until I'm caught up. Also successfully installed a few minecraft mods, after spending several hours yesterday trying to do so without getting anywhere.

Bought loads of fabric at Goodwill for $2.99. Acquired a beginners sewing machine and made something resembling a skirt. Not a pretty one, but you can tell what it is.

Spent the day swearing loudly and most profanely while trying to cut the lawn. Finally succeeded after 6 hours... The lawnmower is a ride-on thing that has seen better days, Cutting the lawn only takes 30 mins on avaerage. Getting the mower to start, then actually run without backfire / spluttering / cutting out, and finally re starting the bloody thing every few minutes, took the rest of the time. The engine NEEDS a bloody good overhaul, plus a few new parts (points, spark plug and HT lead, new fuel filter and air filter). I'm absolutely exhausted, and because it has a pull-start engine, my arms feel like they are going to fall off!! So, yeah - productive. Lawn cut, mower now semi working.... Better than it all started out as. SS

I`ve finished both reports I was working on for my internship (a report on a project me and a colleague did, and my internship report), and send them both off to my supervisors.
This feels weird. I mean, that`s 18 weeks of work send off with one click. It all feels kind of final now. Like the realisation that in one week time, I`ll be finished with my internship and my report will officially be handed in at school and everywhere it needs to be and I`ll be doing my last bit of homework and preparing for my final internship presentation and then graduating and just...what.
On an entirely (and I do mean entirely) different note: I went to the thrift store today, and found lots of good stuff I can hopefully use in the ray guns I`m planning on making.

Fairly terrible weather's kept me penned in most of the day. It gave me a chance to start sorting out the loft though, so I now have a fairly nice little work desk and separate small-medium item photography table. Pretty productive over all!

I have completed a routine backup, format and fresh OS install today. Did the exact same thing (only with two OS's last week, for a friend.
That should keep things going for another 5-6 months.

Not yet...but I'm just about to throw my brand-spanking-new running shoes on and hitting the pavement while it's still a reasonable temperature (they're calling for 100+ temps on Thursday! ) Then I'll consider it a productive day

Managed to paint my bedroom ceiling today. Neck hurts now though, even with a paint roller its still a task and a half x.x
I have given up the habit of occasionally painting my rooms. I have done some rough calculations, and (at least if my slide-rule is still accurate) if I continue adding a layer of paint every 3 years, my rooms will be 30% smaller in 680 years. I cannot keep this up as it will prove counter-productive. I own a house and am paying taxes to Her Majesty per square foot. If I effectively diminish the square footage of each room, I will be paying for what I cannot use. Thus, by NOT painting, I am saving money on paint, and maintaining my square area, a very productive day, if I must say

So that was my productivity for today.
