Yeah, several college assignments which mean I won't get called in over half term so I may spend the two weeks workign and spending time with Master Seabear. I also planned a lovely trip to Grimsby for tomorrow, so if any of the local Steampunks fancy a coffee, drop me a PM! This afternoon it is likely college will end up being cancelled which is brilliant, since I have things I'd like to crack on with at home, such as learning to cook and start working on the newest bustle skirt.

Managed to get up early, wandered into town, strolled into the Citizens Advice Bureau, immediately got to see an advisor, explained my debt situation (unpaid Uni accommodation stuff, maintenance grant was messed up, and I've left it FAR too long) she calls the debt recovery company, they immediately agree to accept incremental payments, rather than the full amount immediately, so that was a huge weight off my shoulders! Bounded back through town, bought myself a little cushion http://www.pasttimes.com/cushions/where-there-is-tea-round-cushion/invt/828077/
]http://www.pasttimes.com/cushions/where-there-is-tea-round-cushion/invt/828077/ and a mini telescope keyring... thing. Total spend- £9.50 and a very happy chap I was!

Had an article published in Solicitors in Local Government Noter Up, returned home to find a redundancy at risk notice everybody had been expecting and finished off my tea duelling set. A mixed day.

Just finished all my school subject reports for the 'little darlings' in time for the deadline. All 150 of the ........blessed things. Not bad considering I could only start them properly on Monday, and there's been 'proper' work to do as well. Sleep? Who needs it? Yeah, you sleep plenty when you're dead. I'm looking forward to a couple of beers tonight at the local SP meet, don't know how much good I'll be for a conversation though. Only my tutor reoprts to do now, but that's a job for the weekend.

I believe the delicious beef rengdang I made today (as well as cleaning the house and tidying part of the garden) was particularly productive... if not productive, yummy, so yummy.
One day I shall make somebody a beautiful wife.

I'm having a very productive couple of days. Yesterday I cleaned up the guest room so I could fit more of my stuff, and set up my computer area, and had a wonderful phone interview with a design company in Chicago, and cooked dinner. Today, I'm taking my parents' car in for servicing, scheduling a haircut, and the dog grooming. And I should apply for more jobs, but having hope for this position has killed my motivation to apply for less awesome positions.

Fitted a 3rd F+M Shako badge on a new white pith helmet, sewn some buttons on a pair of trousers so I can wear braces with them, got some forms so I can replace docs for the motorbike lost in the move (watch me find the buggers after I cough up for new ones), recieved a 'proper' belt in the post from WPG so that completes my Carry On outfit, swapped some badges around on various jackets, did laundry, and.....relaxed. Currently deciding what to wear out to tonight's Steampunk Dress-Up Saturday (2nd Sat of the month, Tap & Spile, Lincoln), to shock the locals. Don't think they're quite ready for Carry On Up The Khyber appearing in a pub near you soon, maybe when it warms up a bit!

Tap & Spile? Is that the one on Saltergate? Has a billiards room off to the left and public bar to the right? One of my favourite haunts in mu undergrad days... halcyon times...
Sorry for the thread hijack, normal service shall be resumed in 3... 2... 1....
My productiveness today extends solely to reading 75 or so pages of a book for research for an essay. Then again, it is the weekend.

I baked a loaf of bread (and I have already eaten half of the loaf - it was only a one pound loaf, after all).

Spent until 12:30 Friday night /Saturday morning rigging the lights for the latest show and awoke at 5am to go to Stratford for the costume sale, returned and realised I have to nip up to Waterloo to record some background sounds tomorrow AM, back to mix and load onto the PC and then off to Another rehearsal for Dick Barton (the latest show)....

Felt that yesterday at work was extremely busy. Turns out that we made more money in that one day than has *ever* been made in a single day at our store before.
Productive? Well I guess I furthered the wealth of a greedy, hateful monster of a franchisee, and doomed many people to hamburger-related shortened lifespans. Go humanity! Right. Tea, toast, more tea, then I may be able to face the day.

I've spent the past couple of hours making a pair of earrings ( they were fiddly and involve hedgehog quills! ). My back and eyes ache now, but no one has earrings like mine ^___^

You have me in stitches!
Just finished sculpting a Air Kraken beak to sit on a wooden shield, the steampunk equivalent of deere antlers (which I got last month at a flea market). The upper beak is 6inches long, if it were from a Humboldt Squid, the body would be 6 meters in length, so its only from a little'un.
