So far today, I feel very productive.

Tidied up the soldering I did last night, on the first piece of electronics to go into my new SP rifle. It now works perfectly  Cheesy
Now I shall relax and play a bit of "bloodlines", before I start on the electro-mechanical trigger unit. And if I have time after that, I will try to find a way, to fit 3 separate power supplies into the stock.

The random pieces of fabric I cut out weeks ago are finally starting to resemble a waistcoat... Oh and I'm making roast duck and risotto for dinner..

Pretty much finished cleaning out and reorganizing my workroom this morning (managed to get rid of about half the stuff that had been sitting there collecting dust). Just have a few more little things to do at some point this week. Then I helped my dad move a bunch of tools and stuff up behind the house and cleaned up the front walk. Then lunch and my dad helped me move my desk (it's a beautiful old solid wood thing but it weighs a friggin ton) so I could finish rerouting some cords and installing my new battery back-up for my computer. Then it was off for a long night at work where I made the same amount for working six hours that I did for working three hours on Wed.; not a great way to end what was otherwise a very productive day.

Nope. I'm the worst distance education college student ever. Ugh. If I design myself a new tattoo, that's as close to productive as I ever get.

i was not pleased with my day, i set out to errect an above ground swimming pool today, i left to get a few parts and somehow my nephew toppled the side and spilled over a thousand gallons of water all over my backyard... so what i acomplished today was making a mess of my yard and yelling at a 6 year old...

may tomorrow be a better day...

Installed a wall-mounted desk in my room today.  Finally able to paint/sketch/be craftsy in peace without needing the kitchen table!  Bonus:  I can leave my messes and clean them up another day!

...then I went to work for nearly 12 hours.

Further degunked a houseguest's laptop (that he's kindly letting me do more or less whatever i Like to, but out of courtesy I'm not doing anything too radical to the themes or such... just a little spurcing and cleaning, and installing security stuff.)

Oh and I'm working on next Sunday's bit for my blog as well as Wednesday's.

Modify: Just saw your good news Joans. Luck be with you on getting employment.

Done practical experiments all day which involved making hydrogen, both chemically and electrically, and testing it by igniting it to do the 'squeak' test.  Big grins all round! Grin Grin Grin

Got my old specs fixed and cleaned and ordered another pair with refractalite (or however it's spelt) lenses.

So, soon be able to see in all shades of weather. That's productive. Grin

It's 'closed week' here at the Library..time for annual stock take...tidying up...moving stock etc. Today I have personally typed out, printed off and attached to their appropriate books  almost 900 labels. Productive? Sure. Tedious? You betcha!!

Ironed the laundry in this forsaken hot humid weather.
Mopped floors.
Cracked about 2kg of walnuts as tomorrow I want to make baklava.
Clipped the grapevines to have more produce and let some air in between the leaves.
Took the new very traumatized dog to the heathland, let her roam free for a bit. When she saw another dog she froze in fear.
Yet when I called her she DID come to me.
So she is trusting me to protect her despite her fear and that brought a song to my heart.

Aside from the continuing design of a multimedia cabinet - mucking about to dress it up or make it relevant or at best not ugly, I have happily accomplished mostly nothing today.

And now it's time for beer!

Yay beer.

I've captured my sixth racoon this past week. I release them to the wild a few miles away. Pesky little buggers.
I also mowed the yard, fitted a new magazine for my Thompson, and perused the Army-Navy surplus store.
