No mad scientist's lab would be complete without a couple of plasma balls, and of late they've become smaller and more affordable:

And here.  This one isn't available direct from manufacturers.  Sadly, that second link is sold out, but I'm buying two of the bulbs in the first one.  Just think of all the aetheric goodness that can now easily be put EVERYWHERE!

I plan on making an Aetheric Lantern, which will probably be done before christmas.

Egads man, do you realize what this means?!  The isolation and containment of finite aetheric quantities poses BOUNDLESS possibilities for aethero-kinetic research.  Full marks to you, Mr. Smythe, for you have brightened my week as I never expected
