Some of those last door cards are brilliant! Have you actually had a chance to play? This is obviously the only way to ensure it all works.

Thank you. There was some playtesting with an earlier version of some cards. 75% of these have either not been tested at all or just not in their current form. Printing them up into a testable form is a bit of a hassle, so I find the more work done prior, the better. How about "The Naughtylus"? Now if only there was a pun on Nemo...
"Captain Meano" will be among the "Monsters".

I would be happy to once I make a few more edits... Which I can probably do over the next two days. I only ask that you give me as much feedback as possible so I can continue to refine them.

These are great, I can't wait to shuffle them into a stack of cards to add some Steamdriven fun to a game!

The offer to send as a zip stands for anyone interested. I'll make time for edits between this evening and Friday morning and begin sending Friday afternoon (Yank Mountain Time). The originals are, sadly, stuck on a laptop that is giving me problems so I will be unable to make any cosmetic upgrades for a while, but the "as is" form has been playtestable for me. If, while reviewing what I have here, you have any suggestions now is a good time to make them. Already up for an edit: "Anachronaut"

It occurs to me that all the cards (unedited) are available here. The original excel docs will be unavailable until I get my comp fixed, sadly. Anything I'd send you would just be a variation of those pic files, for now. Feel free to download those, size them as need be and print them. I hope you enjoy.

As for races, I suggest adding Goblins.
I likes goblins and they go good in steampunk, Probably +1 to Run away, can use Gnome only items, and can discard any one piece of equipment to get +1 to combat while still getting that equipment's bonus for this fight.
Nothing against Goblins, but I'll not be including races of any sort. WHAT ? Not even Morloks ??

I was not able to fix my laptop and access the originl excells nor creat new ones. If there are no objections, I will glad send zips to any who still want them (just drop me a PM) and I can do a grand recreation/edit after I have gathered the input of various playtesters.

The easiest way to playtest cards would be to get some card sleeves and just slide in the printed version in-front of a normal munchkin cards. That's what I do when I playtest card games.
Have you thought about final presentation. I have a free program I downloaded which is designed for making magic cards but can have different templates put in. I'm sure if you put up a list of cards we could get pictures real steampunk gadgetry off people on the forum to use as images for most of the stuff.

I have only thought and figured I would be limited to excell. What is the program, I'd love to give it a try. I actually design a lot of cards for other games (mostly just on paper). It is a fun exercise when I ride the train into work.

My 6-year-old and I regularly play a game I made for "Avatar, the Last Airbender" (distinct from but heavily influenced by Magic the Gathering) And I have created cards for "The Venture Bros.", Changeling: the Dreaming and Watchmen for the Vs. System.

Just wondered if there is any chance of these as an easy to print zip as of yet?
Thanks

I think I can manage that, actually. A lot was lost during a computer crash but I am somewhat confident that I can peice 75 to 90% of it back together with relative ease. Worst case scenario, I will layout the testers I already printed and scan them in. Not all that hard if the work week stays as light as it has been, for me. *knocks on wood*
