I'm attending a bellydance festival at the Hurt Arms in Ambergate (on the A6 between Matlock and Belper) on June 5th, and wondered if anone else would be interested? The daytime event is free, the night time show costs £10, which includes food and camping (though spaces are limited, so you might want to get your places booked pronto...) I know there is a lot of interest in the bellydance community about steampunk, but many of the dancers only know the dance form, and not the subculture it originates from. Bellydancers are a very friendly crowd, and love getting dressed up to the nines, so I'm sure they would love it if some actual steampunks attended their event... Escecially if that include costumes. What do you think? I'll be there anyway, and it would be lovely to see some of you there. If you're interested, follow the link below to get details of how to book tickets for the night do, or directions to the free daytime event.
