We could find a 'hideout spot', since the Drene-Vah probably can't track us as well as they have been, (partly because anyone who could do so has probably been killed by now.) and wait for the Badger or other reinforcements, and maybe give Theo a chance to catch up.
Good idea, I'll be flat out at the College for another week or so, then have some time to post.

SENT BY WIRELESS
FROM: Captain Theosophus Grey, AOF TO: Officers and Crew of the Mad Badger RE: Resigning my commission
Friends - having spent the last six weeks incommunicado while in hospital (yes, for real), I thought it best that I formally transfer command of the Badger to the eminently qualified Ensign Perkins; as such I stand relieved, pending of course the approval of the New Lloyd's representative, Mr. Nightshade (may god have mercy on us all).
I have greatly enjoyed our adventures together in the service of the Crown and humanity, and wish every one of you the best in your future endeavors. During my recovery, I will be supervising the design and the construction of a new vessel, purpose-built for such adventures in the aether, under the auspices of the Lunar Masonic Temple.
Please look for notice of the Victoria launching of the FAAS Widow's Son in the near future.
Cordially, Theo

It's great to hear from you again! The Widow's Son sounds like a great name for a new ship. Hope you get better soon.

lol. Not all Belgians are fat. Hercule Poirot is just one Belgian... I wonder, do all Belgians have funny little moustaches? ---------------------------------------------- Mad Jack, Mingh, Sally and Brantley may return at some later date.
The Black Suits are always lurking just out of sight and earshot (normal sight and earshot, that is (mwa ha ha ha...).
New characters from my fertile (diseased?) imagination may or may not be in the offing, depending on approval, of course.

I have it on good authority that there is dozens of Belgians that are honest decent people with upstanding reputations.
So to say that all Belgians are nasty, vile, schemes is a vicious lie.

I concur, the second photo is the best, although the aether props (if such they are) seem to be rather exposed. Maybe a very slight photoshopping would be in order?
