Noticed a couple threads asking/advertising steampunk themed web comics so I thought it would be cool to have a master list.

Steamcomics
<a href="http://2dgoggles.com/">2d goggles</a>
The result of an established animator and artist with a mathematics lore affinity acquiring free time. Babbage and Lovelace!

The Airship Legacy/
It's the story of the Infallible Captain Wesley, the insane creepy circus girl holding him captive, and his seedy inherited man-servant, O'Malley. Made by one of our own here on brassgoggles, GracePenelopeSook!

Bolt City
A lot of good stories in a wide range of  genres, steampunk included.

Clockworks
Nice bit of steampunk fantasy based on a tabletop rpg campain. Good art, good story, good times ^_^

Chester 5000 XYV
Erotic comic about a lady and her mechanical lover. NSFW.

The Continentals
A steampunk adventure tale about two Continental Operatives untangling a web of mystery, adventure, and murder in victorian era england.

Dresden Codak
Steampunk flavored webcomic with amazing art and interesting story lines.

Ever After
An asylum filled with fairytale heroes and heroines, hasn’t been updated in a while but is really worth the look.

Ever Tommorrow
Created by one of our very own, it’s really getting off to a great start story wise.

Family man
While not steampunk, this tale of werewolves and scholars is still sure to peak your interest.

Freakangels
Six years ago the world ended, this is the story of what happens next. Turns out, steam is the best way to rebuild the world , well, that and psychic powers.

Girl Genius
If I need to explain this one, you’re in the wrong place.

Gunnerkrigg Court
Not really steampunk, but involves no small amount of robots and magic.

No Rest for the Wicked
A dark retelling of fairytales all wrapped together.

The Phoenix Requiem
Victorian-inspired tale of supernatural beings. Excellent clothing design.

Rydal’s Story
Looks like it is going to have steampunk theme’s but it’s too early to tell, interesting regardless

Templar, Arizona
Brilliantly written to the point readers get confused when they can’t find Templar on a map. Steampunk is more of a background element but a good read nonetheless.

Zuda
Thought Zuda deserved it's own subcategory

High Moon
Great (dark) artwork. Seems to focus on the mythical side of Victoriana, rather than the technological at first but we get more as the story progresses.

Puppet Makers
The Puppet Makers is a webcomic recently started with wonderful art by Molly Crabapple. Set in 1685 Versailles, it involves aristocrats in robot suits and other such clockwork devices.

Honorbale Mentions
not steampunk but it is mentioned

Doctor Mcninja
This Dr. McNinja story has the pirate badguys dressed up in some familiar looking aesthetics.

something positive
Snarky, clever, and now doing an arc involving the treatment of female hysteria ^_^

Leave a comment with the webcomic name/link/description if you think of any to add and let’s see how long this list can get!

Aaaannnddd Devil’s Panties no, it’s not steampunk. No, it’s not satanic porn. It’s just a life journal type comic that I always add because it’s just that entertaining

Just a note: Family Man isn't Victorian. It takes place in the 1760s, whereas the Victorian era was 1837-1901.

Excellent list so far, though! I suggest the additions of:

The Phoenix Requiem
Victorian-inspired tale of supernatural beings. Excellent clothing design.

Chester 5000 XYV
Erotic comic about a lady and her mechanical lover. NSFW.

and possibly:

Gunnerkrigg Court
Not really steampunk, but involves no small amount of robots and magic.

Wondermark - a delightfully silly take on history, made with collages and speech bubbles.

Why didn't I think of Wondermark earlier?

here's some I've got under my gaze

<a href="http://2dgoggles.com/">2d goggles</a>
The result of an established animator and artist with a mathematics lore affinity acquiring free time. Babbage and Lovelace!

maybe?:
<a href="http://airships.paulgazis.com/">The Flying Cloud</a>
This is actually a serial story taking place in an alternate early 20th century... but there is art and Zeppelins!

EDIT: HTML fix

I submit!

Concerning the adventures of an Irish Ninja Doctor. He pals around with Benjamin Franklin quite often, tricks death, and has recently had a clone of himself captured by Airship Pirates.

Great (dark) artwork. Seems to focus on the mythical side of Victoriana, rather than the technological. Many demons, myriad werewolves.

Their is a decent amount of Steampunk later on in the story. including a mechanical golem, and an agent of Tesla, who is kind of like a 19th Century James Bond/Bounty Hunter/Secret Society member.

Updated the list a bit,
Hark! A Vagrant and High Moon have been submited but have no description so if anyone wants to do the honors i'll add them as soon as i get them. ^_^

also, there is now an 'honorable mention's' list for webcomics that only have arcs containing steampunk

Monster Commute is a steampunk + urban fantasy comic.

No elves, dwarves, or stuff like that.

http://www.monstercommute.com

Lincolnstein is the dictator. Everyone lives in their steamcars. The world of Monstru is covered in twisting concrete highways. 7 ton iron mechanical crows are the corrupt police force.

A good place to start reading is here:
http://www.monstercommute.com/category/comic/kings-of-the-road/

I'm currently working on the Monster Commute pen and paper RPG as well.
