I've been in south London rather too long.  I'm along the tram line too.

I have never been from one end to the other.  Sounds like we need a picnic in the park, of which there are many on the tram doorsteps, and ride on the jolly 'ole tram.  That would spook a few of the locals, I have no doubt.   Kiss

Oh my dear Professor, I do sympathise with you.

I like teaching people (mainly females) how to make different bits of Victorian costume.  Oh, and tea drinking of course, and hanging out in strange places. What is your main interest?

Ahh hello! I knew I couldn't be the only one! As well as pubs I've also noticed a slow and steady rise in Bingo Halls! So if you do survive binge drinkinig youth and grow old, you develop an unhealthy obsession for vests, perms, and pens!

Where abouts are you then?

A little place called Belton.

I have fond memories of visits to Belton House (the setting for Moondial, of course). And Belton Farm cheese, too.

Hey, this looks tempting:

I reside on the other side of the stream in Ireland (Northern Ireland to be exact) and no I don't have an Irish accent, unfortunately my accent is rather tricky to understand (at least for Americans at any rate). Smiley

The Victorian Seaside resort of Llandudno, in North Wales.  Proper lovely it is, too.

The Industrial Revolution, which made Britain the powerhouse of the world in the 19th Century, may have been consigned to the history books but it has left a legacy of environmental problems.

Ahoy Mr Cooper, I hail from good ol' norn iron myself, now somehow ended up in Yorkshire. Kept the accent though, with a sliding scale of strength depending on how much I want to confuse people...

All my life.  Well, I grew up in Deganwy, and now I live in Llandudno Junction, but if you mention Deganwy or Llandudno junction, everyone but the most hardened train-spotter goes "Wha'?  Where?".

What made you up sticks and move to Edinburgh, then?  Are you studying?

Looking after my dad, he has MS.

Ha, I've spent a lot of time in Junction. Are you a Facebook user? if so, search for "The Noble and Sacred Order of Gogcogs", if you're not a member already. It's a group for North Wales steampunks. There's a few people knocking about down there.
