I'm from Liverpool, though I live in suburbia rather than in town. Still have some interesting old houses around and about in south Liverpool though.

I'm in Edinburgh. I'm actually new to the UK in general. Still learning my way about. I'm desperate to find where the Steampunk action is locally, but I'm fearing that there isn't much. ;__;

I hail from Bolton, home of a small but beautifully formed Steam museum. I was born in Oldham, home of the worlds first Industrial Complex (that made steam engines for industy and the railways) and Railway's First Challenge - How to go up an hill.

Whereabouts in Suffolk? I am in the North of Essex, There is a small group of Essex Steampunks, The League of Essextraordinary Gentlemen. We host gatherings every couple of months in and around the county, and everybody is welcome to come along. Although Nothing is set in stone yet, our next two events will probably be A visit to the Essex Police Museum in Chelmsford, In February, and The Second Grand Dinosaur Hunt, at the Dinosaur Adventure Park In Norfolk, in May. |

Good day from a small town halfway between York and Doncaster!
Attractions nearby my home include a museum of our Victorian port, a general museum above the library, a park for perambulations (please ignore the motorway traffic), a newly revamped Victorian hotel that hosts tea afternoons, and there are plenty of walking and picnicking opportunities around our waterways. Notable in an outlying village is our most regal Queen Victoria herself, portrayed on stained glass in a charming church.
If I had the faculties required to organise a grand day out, I'd have already done it. Our town is wonderful really, if you avoid certain public houses.
