Anyone nearby?  Smiley

I'd love to know if there's anyone from Woking or Guildford, or in that vicinity. I have no idea since I have never seen anyone who vaguely dress originally.

I'm just in between Woking and Byfleet, in a picturesque village that time has conveniently forgotten.

I am located in the rather flat and, currently, rather wet county of Suffolk, near the fair town of Bury St Edmunds. I really must get a picture of the exterior of the brewery... it is full of coppery tubing and gauge goodness.

Bury St. Edmunds?
Why, my good sir! I spent a rather lovely (though slightly wet) Easter holiday there.
Though, when there was no rain, the lack of street lights made it easy to go star gazing.

But yes. I hail from the misty North East Fife, in North East Scotland, near the River Tay and fair town of St. Andrews (yes, the very same St. Andrews where the The Open is currently taking place).
We have the Verdant Works and the R.R.S Discovery (which is either Victorian or Edwardian. I can't really remember).

Any steampunks in Dundee fancy meeting up at the Verdant Works some time in August (preferably from the 17th to the 24th) ?

Why that's ever so close to me! I'm from Send, a less picturesque, but just as charming village.

I'm just on the other side of Ripley, beyond the ruins of Newark Priory, on the plateau known as Pyrford.

Requesting a pin be inserted in the rotten borough (or is that robber button?) of Okehampton, home of the Dartmoor Railway.
Do not be surprised if you find some difficulty inserting a pin here, the high concentration of magic and witches may mean the pin forcibly removes itself from time to time...

Incidentally, I do very much hope you contact me if any fellow forum-goers are in the area... It gets lonely in the moors...

I was raised in Derby - Hartington Street to be precise - my parents moved the family to the Antipodes to go snark hunting over 40 years ago. We have been hunting snarks ever since.

I'm from one of the many boroughs of London - Bromley, to be precise. It, er...it could be nicer, but hey, at least it's not Croydon.

*apologies in advance to any Croydonites*

Cheesy  I too, am from the ancient and frankly ragged-about-the-edges Bromley Borough.  And Croydon really is pants, isn't it?

Hello all, I am in and about London and definitely up for any local shenanigans, should anybody be planning them.

As much as it pains me to state this, I will be moving from Liverpool to The South, to be more precise - The West Country...I fully expect to begin ending all sentences with: "Alright my loveeerrr" and finding that swimming becomes a lot easier with the newly installed webbed feet.
Here's to hoping it's all over quickly.
