This coming February 2nd, 2011 will be Steampunk Canada's First Anniversary!

As February 2nd is a weekday, we have decided to celebrate on Saturday, February 5th.

It would be wonderful (and warm my heart) to have local groups across Canada hold a steampunk event all on the same evening! Movie night, museum event, pub gathering - whatever takes your fancy.

If you don't have a group close by, wear your goggles for the evening, read some Jules Verne by candlelight, or watch a classic like "The Time Machine".

If anyone will be in Ottawa that weekend for Winterlude or GAnime, we will be gathering in the evening at the abode of Countessa Lenora and The Mechanic to raise a glass and share some cheer.

Wherever you may be that evening, join us as we raise a toast!
