Dear All

It has been some time since I last crept these hallowed halls, but I return now in friendship, to share news of a Steam-punk friendly evening that myself and a close associate are putting on in Birmingham. I therefore with the greatest pleasure post the following;

Compèred by the Irrepressible Mr. Edwin Flay of the Grand Anarcho-Dandyist ball fame, check him out here http://www.mrflay.com/html/profile.html

Outstanding Burlesque by Honey Wilde, Glorian Grey, Violet-va-voom and Friday Blues!

Live music by Caroline Fourstrum (Ukulele), Sami & Tilley (Flanders and Swann for a new generation, and, well, female), and Chris Bicknel (Accoustic Guitar)

All held at the wonderful Wellington Hotel in Birmingham; a gloriously decadent, dilapidated and depraved venue for our evening of excess. The evening is purposefully goggle friendly and my good friend Duffers, who I understand is a well known member of this forum will be there too.

Any questions ask away, otherwise do check out www.thiasolian.com, from which you may purchase tickets etc!

Looking forwards to seeing you on the night

Oliver

Bah! Dash it all, this lovely event clashes with my birthday plans.

However, if this is to be a regular Birmingham event, I shall definitely see you at future shows... One can never have too much Burlesque!

Much to my extreme disappointment, I'm afraid that I won't be able to make it.

I have, however, put a post up on Network about it.  You should hold more evenings like this so I might be able to get to one!

Thank you, Mr Fox for putting that up.

And I'm deeply sorry, Doctor, to hear that we have been so inconsiderate as to clash with your plans; Gazongola (or whatever it is) tells me you are a fine man and your parties are not to be missed, were I not hosting elsewhere I would certainly have donned my cape and scared the living daylights out of any pretty young ladies present.
