Wait... what???

We have an international day? First I've heard of it.
On the plus side, it's on my birthday. 14th June. I must do something. Organise something for that date or something of that ilk. Or, seeing as it's my birthday, I could invite ideas from others as to what I can do. I'll be 29 and 108 months old by then.

It was also mentioned here.

That's where I got it from to be honest. I was being a little facetious about it really as I have never heard of it previously, but was pleasantly surprised that it was the same day as my birthday.

I've not heard of it before either. Still, seem's like a good excuse for an expedition, as if one were needed- and by June, the snow may be gone!

I would say that, at the least, this is the day on which all BrassGogglers have to wear their steamwear to work even if they normally dont. yes I know many never  take it off but many others have parallel lives.

If the scouts and guides can traditionally wear  their uniforms to school on BP's birthday (22 feb if you were never one of these) then we can go to work in our steamgear.

It might be a good excuse for those who WANT to be steamy every day, but are, perhaps, a bit reluctant to take the plunge.  This way, if someone says something, they have a justification ready.

I would be all for it were it not company policy to wear the company uniform. Ah well, I can still wear steam wear to work on halloween.
