Airship Olympic Recruiting NOW!

Strong women, pretty boys, steampunks, curious eccentrics and eclectic individuals wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in event of success. Recruiting now for new adventures in time and space. Join today..... I need YOU!!!!

Vagabonds, pirates, scoundrels and rogues come hither; gentlemen of leisure and ladies who lunch all welcome .... low morals and high standards essential ... bounty and banter provided .... Apply now .... London needs YOU!

Steampunk in London, UK. looking for members and friends to enjoy adventure (or mis-adventure) in time and space .... or in and around Stratford and the Olympic Park.

All welcome, no rules (I haven't thought of any yet ... and probably won't) .... but the point is to actually dress up, meet and do something together periodically .... so international and long distance friends are much loved and appreciated but there must be some steampunks in East London who actually want to partake of absinthe and obscure goings on....

Six hail and hearty matelots required .... crew wanted .... Apply now! First six accepting the Kings shilling will be handsomely rewarded .... or at least given a biscuit ...

Major Maelstrom MacHine of the Isles of Albionia

« Reply #642 on: January 10, 2014, 02:10:29 pm »

Good day all,
I travel by the name of Major MacHine (that is Major Maelstrom MacHine) of Albion. I reside along the central south coast Solent area - south Hampshire if that helps - though I originate from more northerly climes.

I am a member of P.A.S.T.S. - The 'Portsmouth and Southampton Time-travelling Steampunks society' which has now not only a facebook group page but has opened a meet-up group page as well. To join either or both, if you reside in the central south coast / Solent area, please go to the appropriate web pages. The more members we have, the more opportunities we have to socialise and promenade in our finest alternative historical attire to impress and mystify the native muggles of this fair corner of the Empire. If you are a member of an existing steampunk (or similar) group in the wider area - Bournemouth, Brighton, Bristol, etc. you will still be welcomed within P.A.S.T.S as we are all sibling groups of the same superb great steampunk genre and welcome each other with civility and respect. Be Splendid

P.A.S.T.S on facebook go to  -   https://www.facebook.com/groups/302759246517155/

P.A.S.T.S on meet up go to   -   http://www.meetup.com/PASTS-Portsmouth-Southampton-Time-Travelling-Steampunks/

The Steampunk Morris were amazing!

I managed to hold off on going until the Monday, the weather on Sunday was atrocious (which is something to be considered when travelling in a '52 soft top Morris with a roof that leaks)

It was such a brilliant event all round tbh but I spent most of the time in Slip 3 Wink
