Reni Valentine (that's the name i answer to both off-board and on-...)
currently situated west of Harrisburg, PA although my travels take me through a fair bit of the east coast...
In all reality, "steampunk" is anachronistic, innit? Otherwise it's just Victorian dress-up.

chain smokin', sleep needin', apparel designin', mohawk havin', tea drinkin', steady cursin', boy charmin', card readin' rabble-rouser and amusement park cleverly disguised as a woman

Steampunk is in the eye of the beholder, in the hands of the tinkerer and in the needle of the costumer.

I am rapidly coming to understand the attraction people have for the northwest US, it appears that all the coolest people live there (an artist friend of mine from NH just joined your numbers as well)... :)

Baltimore, MD at the moment for school. I actually live in Orlando, FL and should be moving back in May and starting school there instead of coming back here.

I'm very new to steampunk but loving it already.  Unfortunately, there seems to be a distinct lack of others around me.  Arrrg.
