Went to the Glasgow Westend festival parade today and made some delightful new friends.
http://i788.photobucket.com/albums/yy163/Drgreensteam/teainthepark2011.jpgI noticed the young gentleman in the cricket whites and boater standing on a chair with his cup and saucer, in order to watch the parade whilst taking his tea. naturally I had to strike up a conversation and hence got invited to join him and his friends for this most delightful tea picnic. They are apparently into the 1920s (local Gatsby Society) but I think they will fit right in with the steampunkers locally.
