Well timed one could say I personally have just purchased a new pair of trousers and a waistcoat from here, the Virginian Waistcoat (in dark green wool), and a pair of their 'black' wool trousers. Rather liked the look of them. Just need a new shirt & cravat and I'll be ready for the Steampunk Summer Sizzler thingy

I'll be sizzling in the Texas Folklife festival in San Antonio this weekend (playing banjo, fife and flute with the Texas Dulcimers). It was a heat advisory scorcher last year, weather promises to be similar this year, but if you're in the area come on out. Lots of stuff besides our old-time and hillbilly music, and lots of pavilions and tents and people in costume, albeit not necessarily steampunk. Oh well, any excuse to wear my big knife and my Willsons...

Captain Warde, I don´t think they filmed Monty Python there, it was Eilean Donan castle ( aka the most photographed castle in Scotland).
I was terribly ill yesterday :/ a bit better today, but still. *sniffles*

Aww, Sweetest, I'm so sorry to hear that. -She took reached into her coat, and pulled out a flask, handing it to her.- This one's for the special occasions only. I'd say that this is a special occasion. I found out last week that they're cutting the music program at the high school I went to. It was one of the best things of those three years for me. While it isn't a death, it still feels like something precious has just been cut away from my years there.

Sweetest, very sorry to hear about the loss. I know I wouldn't be where I am without some of the amazing teachers in my life.

the uk is full of sick people, which is odd as it's been so warm yet there are loads of sore throats and colds. i'm (fingers crossed) not one of them.

aaw, thank you guys *snuggles up to Gabriel* I hope to be better soon. I am also incredibly anxious because my department seems to be the very last one to give out degree classifications... all my friends have their grades already.

while I wont comment on the actual post, can I just say that I take offense to the "silly online flirting" at the end? no matter how much you have been hurt and have hurt other people, taking it out on people who aren´t involved isnt very nice or looks good on you.

I'm not entirely sure what to say to that. Anyone who feels the need to PM me can feel free. That was interesting to see, to say the least!
