Wait... I thought drummers had a reputation for being the most dim-witted in whatever band they're in?
This was actually true in each year of band for me. And now a little more band humor... What did the drummer get on his theory test?
Drool. Honestly, though, I'd rather have a guy who can sing. They seem to be hard to come by these days.

Alright, I've been awake since 10am, yesterday, in an attempt to get my sleep patterns unfrakked. I got my English essay written and handed in. That's at least one thing I can cross off my gaaaaah list. Possibly two. But we'll see in the morning.

they may sit down all the time but they have lots of muscles in their arms and the middle eastern ones have nimble fingers... actually so do pianists.... *sits daydreaming* Yes, and that's definitely what you put most strain on... Then again, I've heard a surprising amount of girls say they don't even like guys with abs. But if you're all arms... And if it's skilled and strong fingers you want, then the bassists and guitarists come out on top again. Does a skilled tongue have any value, might I ask? Ah-hah, but drummers are the most important member of the band. Why? Because they keep the rythym. (which means that drummers have a good sense of rythym ) Well, excuse me if I think it takes more than just being able to pound away... You've got to have some finesse... excuse me while i agree and then swoon. *agrees* *swoons*

<catches> Good heavens, women are dropping like flies again. I think you'll find for strength and finesse in their fingers, a sports fencer will be as apt...majority of foil & epee work is with the fingers and the speed with which we fence is lightning quick. We're also pinpoint accurate and know where to target Plus we also get the best innuendo's

I am procrastinating a large paper (10 pages-ish) that is due next week, but I could get feedback on a draft if I finish by Friday...but I don't think that's going to happen. Which makes me a little sad. And yet, still not working on the paper.

There's nothing quite like the feeling of running close to the wire, nearly ODing on caffeine and sugar, at three in the morning.

I have class tonight, in a few hours. I've worked on it for about 4 hours today, but I haven't really gotten anywhere. I just got some market data about pet ownership in a few countries (harder to find then you might think) but now I need to write a couple pages about it, and then do some cultural analysis of my countries, and then make recommendations. I am not optimistic about my grade on this one.

This is why I chose English Lit. A bit of reading and plenty of BS and you can write an essay in one sitting. I don't like having to break writing up, I prefer getting it all done in one go, often the night before it's due.

Ah-hah, but drummers are the most important member of the band. Why? Because they keep the rythym. (which means that drummers have a good sense of rythym ) But then, rhythm is nothing if there's no groove. In the best bands, the bassist and drummer lock in and make you want to move. That's why bands without bass players are rarely any good. Also, yes, our finger dexterity is no exaggeration. Most guitarists who play with a pick are mainly using the muscles in their wrists... which explains a lot of things! Meep! *swoons*

Plus we also get the best innuendo's I protest that and put forward shooters like myself. We practice wearing leather. We hold the butt firmly. Our aim is to put it in the same hole again and again and again. We have precise trigger fingers. etc etc

Our aim is to put it in the same hole again and again and again. We have precise trigger fingers. etc etc Personally I like to give my sword a good rub down after a bout, all that thrusting takes its toll, y'know. Personally when wielding it, I like to keep a good strong grip on it, so that it doesn't go all over the place at the decisive moment. It's amazing, though, what can be achieved with a simple thumb and fore-finger on the grip, the movements can be so delicate, so fine, yet on target each and every time, leaving your opponent wanting. Making sure your sword has a good sheath is important, tight is good, but not so that you can not withdraw it at a conclusive moment. Also you don't want your sword to be loose, rattling around inside its sheath, might damage it as it cannons off of the sides... ...eh I'm too tired to think of any more right now, did 3x 10 point bouts back to back on the electric box, so had 4 layers of clothing on, in a baking hot room, with the sun shining through the window. Feeling a little fatigued. Bloody good fun though.
