Oh, I get to see it alright. Ran lighting/sound for a very good stand up comedian tonight, great fun!

Do you do design as well?  My brother does sound design for local theater companies.  He just finished Macbeth.

Sort of. On this one the performer had sent a list of what he wanted (couple of mics and a line in for his laptop). The chief techie basically pointed me towards the kit and said "set it up, if you're not sure ask" by means of a training exercise. Only problems I had were with some of the extra controls on the sound board - more switches than I'm used to!

*streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch*

Reporting for work...it's early for me. *yawn* Do we have any coffee made? *gathering hats and coats and passing out receipts*

Thank you...thank you...yes, the singer will be in later...the restrooms are down that hallway...the cook should be here shortly...ring for the waiters if you want tea...HEY! Watch where you put your hands!!!! *mumblegrumble*

On a side note, I am dressed in my steamloli fines today. Cheesy Decided it was time to test it out.

Cosplay? Interesting subject. I was thinking of doing a bit myself for a con later next year, but I haven't figured out who to go as yet. I was thinking the girl from Bizenghast by M. Alice LeGrow, there are some very nice costumes that she has, and they are right up my alley. ^_^ I might also try a sweetloli look as well.

Did you play with them and see what they do?  I love messing around with switches and buttons.

Not enough intent behind 'em to do damage.

I'm proud of my teeth, ne'er had to see a sadistic dentist as a result of them.

In the event of building a successful time machine I'd have a couple of subsidiary aims (after chasing Tyrannosaurs got dull). Amongst them would be tracking all of these undecipherable manuscripts to source.

Now where's the fun in that? You spoilsport. Tongue The Voynich manuscript would probably turn out to be an old D&D book anyway. Grin

Wouldn't it be fun trying to track them down though? Or even better, adding some new ones...
