*comes in, wipes down all the tables and the bar, gets the clean glasses from the kitchen, and hooks up the new keg*

Huh, quiet in here tonight.

I suppose that could be a good thing! Smiley

I got an hour and a half sleep lastnight...I'm supposed to be going to a doctors appointment and then to a friends house, but I'm rather leaning towards putting it off till next week.

I am loading maps onto my new smartphone, swapping bits of camera about (repairing a viewfinder surround with superglue works, providing that you don't reassemble it too quickly and fog the glass. Luckily I had a spare!) and avoiding moving too much.

I really should find something more practical to do than aimlessly wandering the net.

*Fills drink orders*

Great googly-moogly, looks like I woke up just in time! Wink

Rose Oak,
I'd say that your first question is one of the great dilemmas. I've lost chances and gotten turned down because of that one.
Your second question... I'd say if they were at least 4 generations removed and no longer living, they count as an ancestor.

MORNING ALL! Cheesy

How does one figure out when someone want to be friends or something more

Definitely helpful to run it by a group of other friends.  They can usually decode the signs MUCH better.  Or, arrange for a friend to watch you interact (preferably an observant one...).

*Slides Sweetest Poison a New Castle*
I never liked any of the clubs in my home town.
All of them meat markets that played horrid music.

We don't have Chavs over here, but if we did they'd love that sort of club. Tongue

Chin up, Sweetest. You've friends here. Smiley

blah, not much into clubs either.  Too loud.  I'm all for a night out on the town, but I prefer conversation over loud, crappy music.

Just got back from a walk on The Ave, and saw a couple of thrift stores that look pretty good.  I'll have to hit them up (after I pay rent and bills, if there's anything left over).

Tomorrow night I shall go see a local band Furyon support Gun. Plan is to have a few beers before, watch Furyon, then retreat to the bar. A sound plan.
