I am pleased to announce the opening of not one but two Steampunk themed Etsy shops. TheNavigatrix is something I have created to sell the one-off bits and pieces that I have recently been inspired to create in whatever spare time I can find. ArcaneArmoury is a more serious full time venture by my awesome modelmaking brother. Now, these shops are still stocking their virtual shelves but I can tell you I've seen a few of ArcaneArmoury's larger projects and I know that there will be more than a few moustaches out there dripping with drool...Visit these links and spread the word! http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheNavigatrix?ref=ss_profilehttp://www.etsy.com/shop/ArcaneArmoury?ref=ss_profile

Hi, fellow steam folk! Please may I put in a good word for my shop, House of Hirudinea? Some of you may have seen us at White Mischief and various other events around London, where we sell clothing and accessories for steampunks and goths. We'll have alot more of our new clothing lines going up on Etsy over the next few months, so please feel free to pop in and check us out, or keep up-to-date with news via our Facebook page. http://www.etsy.com/shop/houseofhirudineaThanks for your time!

Even though I only have a couple of things in there at the moment, I do have an Etsy shop and am a member of the Brass Goggles etsy crew. I will be putting some more stuff up in the near future. Some LARP/LRP, some steampunk related, but all fabulous! My shop can be found here

Leviathan Steamworks, by a friend of mine: http://www.etsy.com/shop/leviathansteamworks"Proudly serving the Steampunk Community since April, 2008!
Featured in: "1000 Steampunk Creations: Neo-Victorian Fashion, Gear & Art" by Dr. Grymm Ceiba Records, San Francisco, CA (http://www.ceibarec.com/) Ipso Facto, Fullerton, CA (http://www.ipso-facto.com) Steampunk Couture (http://www.steampunkcouture.com) 360 Unlimited, Lakeland, FL
Leviathan Steamworks crafts steampunk and Victorian-inspired adornments completely by hand and without the use of electrical equipment for that vintage feel. All pieces are created using old clock and watch parts. Whether a commissioned piece or something I came up with on my own, each piece is made with inspiration and a love for what I do."

I've just applied to the Etsy Team I'm building steam gradually, adding more and more items every week or so, like these: http://www.etsy.com/listing/96238529/eccentric-orbit-necklace-steampunk-orhttp://www.etsy.com/listing/96235947/sky-empress-brooch-steampunk-victoriana?ref=v1_other_2I love to make everything individual - that grew out of necessity as I started with very limited supplies, with things either given, found in the bottom of a family member's sewing box or in charity shops. It has become a theme now, with even pairs of things such as earrings having subtle differences. Nearby, my brother Matt of www.etsy.com/shop/ArcaneArmoury has his workshop. He's just finished a batch of Retro sci-fi themed Nerf dart shooters for a UK based Live Rolepay event and has started on a series of Steampunk themed Nerfs. It's great to be able to help and inspire one another, to share ideas and cogs, too! Do come along every now and again and see how our shops are growing. We're always looking out for really cool Steampunk stuff ourselves (and when we make good sales, we'll most likely be buying from those favourite shops!) Perhaps we need threads here specific to what kind of items are being offered...if your shop sells more that one type, you list yourself in the appropriate threads? Just an idea as there seem to be so many of us out there! That way, no one needs to constantly update an ever-growing list!!!

Not wishing to hog a thread all to myself, I thought I'd offer a space for prosperity-minded individuals to promote their wares. As for myself, I am currently offering a little extra to the Steampunk community: 11% off everything in my shop until July with the code STEAMPUNKERS http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheNavigatrixI look forward to seeing you there!

I haven't found too many shops more awesome than my own so, for the sake of completeness ... Visit ArtificerMade! Handmade, all metal, no plastic, brass goggles, miscellaneous steampunkery, hot n steamy glassholes, and similar awesomeness. Beauty, born of fire and violence! Only at: http://www.etsy.com/shops/artificermadeAnd yes, I really did get reported to the SPCA for putting goggles on a cat.

I was down in whitstable the other day and came across an unbelievably fantastic shop called pearl and hemmingway they have a huge stock of retro, vintage and theatrical cloathing at reasonable prices and the owner is a very nice lady. If you find yourself in the area I would recommend a look.
