If you folks are looking for another Con, there will be Steamcon (Seattle) in November (I went last year and may go this year) and Anomaly Con (Denver) in March (I will be there).

Having a devil of a time finding pix of my friend and I in our Clockpunk Venetian Masquerade dresses.  Can you help?

I just have one question for everyone:
Why did it have to end?

Because we would die of malnutrition and lack of sleep if it kept going and going and going??? ;)

Actually, I ate rather well while I was down there; did not visit a single Waffle House (though I desperately wanted to).. lack of sleep, on the other hand.. ;)

I ate OK at the con, because we brought food - although a longer event would eventually exhaust my ability to live off of cold sandwiches and granola bars. That gets a bit boring for me. I always eat one warm meal a day at the con, in the food court. Some of the places there are pretty good, with vegetables and everything.

Sleep deprivation, however, would do me in faster than bad food. I am still tired. I kind of wish I'd taken this week off.
Oh, you are beautiful! No really, you are, you're gorgeous! Space-age clockwork, I love it, I've got chills! Listen, I mean this from the heart - and by the way, count those - it would be a crime, it would be an act of vandalism to disassemble you.

But that won't stop me.

I am looking at people's photostreams from the con, and I believe I saw a Steampunk Deadpool in the background of one shot.  Can anyone confirm or deny this character's presence at the con?
Aye, he was there.  At the Time Travelers ball he was standing near a table next to a Steampunk Green Lantern.

Did any happen to get a photo of me in my fairy catcher?  I have no pictures of it, but at the ball, I was the end of the line.

Well I made it home. Had another event to go to right after D*C so I am dragging backside. I had a great time however I worked so I missed a lot of Steampunk events. What I did see was great! I saw a lot of work go into the Steampunk events and costumes. Thanks to all those who worked so hard putting this together!

Next years Steampunk at Dragon*Con looks to be bigger and better, I got my Steampunk attire together and looking for to seeing y’all next year or at least around the southeast.

I was at the Masquerade and missed the ball, but if it went like last year, the line probably vanished after some time went by. Lengthy dances at Dragon*Con tend to be easier to get into if you show up fashionably late.

And, of course, we were.. but what a grand time we had!! Elegance all over the place and much a heady chat or two!

I have gotten my knees back and am rested. I am ready to start planning for next year. I am starting by refining my Steampunk clothing! I am going to make the track to the Wild Wild Westin at night. I am going to figure out how to record the Dragon*Con TV. It is awesome. I need the Steampunk Segway. Getting on the elevators - all I can say is "RAMMING SPEED"

I missed the makers’ exhibit completely; I will not miss it in 2011. This year was my best since 1990. (I got to eat breakfast with Tom Clancy in 1990 with no one else at our tables. It was an awesome conversation where I listened a lot.)

Great job to the Director and all your minions! Thank you

Ian3000; Thank you for your service! See you in 2011.

I live in Atlanta and know some people who are going. I'm not sure if I would want to go myself but I am considering it.

I went to Dragon Con and I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I may not be able to go next year.
