Excellent work all round Darkview- a Nerf is easy to paint and modify, but not easy to paint and modify well!

Smiley

I'm liking the garter pistol, and using the adhesive curlicues is an excellent idea, I may have to 'borrow' it!

PS: Do I know you from the Eagle forum?

Thank you all . . . yes Herr Döktor  l'm on the Eagle forum and as for the the adhesive curlicues . . . by all means do, you gave me the idea to use those small rivet stickies so its Karma. and l love your professional work.

l will be putting new pictures of the garter gun up tomorrow as l've now created more ornate features and its so much better in my eyes. Now all l need is a name for it???

And darkshines l may well sell it after lve done my sexy model shoot with it around the beginning of November . . . the ones on here are just a tester for the gun.

Wow, these are fantastic!  Excellent job on the painting, I agree.  Can I ask what paints you used on these?  I'm always looking for new methods of creating metallic effects...

I'm hoping to do my own Maverick mod soon.  Most of my work is fabricated from scratch, but I figure it'll be fun to try my hand at modding.

The thing I like most, and normally I loath maverick mods, is the paint job. It is first rate.
Agreed on all accounts.

Love the Blunder Bettie, especially that it looks used, as if it received hard wear in the Nerf Wars.

Gorgeous job painting!  I'll have to look for the adhesive metal curlicues you're talking about... What section would you buy them in?

Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!

PS is the Garter Gun a squirt-gun?

Thanks,Professor Griffiths/SgtPepper ... the metal curlicues you're talking about are from arts and craft shops and are for people who make card crafts etc, they are not cheap but worth it for the required look, the garter guns a cheap pellet gun toy, its best if you shop around as lve found. lf your shops are limited they are on evilbay and usually come in silver/gold metalic glitter like.

Dont mind you featuring them at all prof, lam on facebook too, under darkview
