Here are some of my Steampunk works that are finished (the ones I don't feel self-concious about showing in public anyway)  Wink

The Peace Giver MKIV Boarding Pistol
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
(This was made under stage prop guide lines, so think "To be viewed from 20ft away or more"; it was also the first time I used spray paints on anything other than base coating miniatures)

The Chronofluxradiationmeter
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
(My pocket watch got seriously messed up in a bus crash I was in and this is the best I could do to bring it some sort of usefulness, the purple thing is a carved amethyst crystal, but it doesn't come out well in the pics.)

Steampunk Pendant
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
(The base piece is about the size of a 2p coin)

Anyway, I would love to here your opinions on my stuff, I know they are nowhere near as truly incredible as some of the great inventions posted on here, so feel free to tell me if you think something is more steamjunk than steampunk (although keep in mind everything was scavenged).  Smiley

(For those of you who don't know me, I just joined, I introduce myself here:

the gun is just brilliant and still looks beautiful at close up range. in fact it would be criminal to see it only from 20ft away!

Why would anyone want to toss shell less mollusks?  Cheesy

The gun looks great. What kind of gun did you use as a base? I like your other pieces too, sorry to hear your pocket watch was broken, good thing you could make it something new.

BTW how big is a 2p coin? I'm in the US.

There's a thread devoted to Mr. Guyver's truly hilarious rendition of this concept:

Check it out, the comedy is riotous good fun!

If memory serves me correctly, roughly the size of a quarter. A "copper" coin.

Very nice things.  The gun is smashing.  Is it a modified existing gun, or a from-the-ground-up build?

looks like the gun that came with the game Time Crisis for the playstation or sega.  Good paint work on it.
