Alrighty, time for Gentleman's Challenge #4. In this next challenge you will be assigned a specific type of object to make. Also the list of items will be a mix and match of things we've had before as well as some new.

Object to make: Something to go on your head. This could be goggles, hat pins, masks, etc. Time to gadget up your noggin'!

The List of items!
- 3 items from a Hardware store.
- Something Red.
- Nuts and bolts of any number and size.
- Glass.
- 1 item from a friends house (stolen or borrowed).
- 4 Items found outside.
- Child's toy.
- 2 items from a garbage. Dumpster diving or browsing the office recycle bin, both count.
- Wood.
- 3 items from a Hardware store.
- Buttons of any kind (either the kind to launch a weapon, or ones that hold your clothes on. Your choice)
- Something Kneedable (play dough, clay, etc.)
- 5 paint colours of your choice.
- A spoon.
- 2 types of fabric.
- Fun fur, or real, up to you.
- Wax!
- Gauges of any kind.
- Leather.
- An item from an Antique store.
- Something taken from something else.
- 3 items of your choice.

It is a longer list of items then usual so we should see some super creative things coming out of this one. At least 8 items must be used in the creation.

A Gentleman's Challenge!

Rules:
   - You do not have to be a gentleman to enter this challenge. Scallywags and Ladies allowed.
   - You must post in this thread that you are participating to be counted in the challenge.
   - Must only use the items on the list in your creation.
   - You do not have to use all of the items on the list, but you must use a minimum of 8 items in your creation.
   - Make what ever you like. Can be functional, or just for fun.
   - You may use what ever tools to build your creation that are at your disposal. Ie: hammer, glue, screwdriver, etc.
   - You will have three weeks to make your creation from the appointed start time.
   - Pictures of the finished creation must be posted on the finishing day by midnight your time.
   - You must list all items used in your creation when you post the finish picture.
   - Have Fun!!

For this challenge you will have 4 weeks to complete your creations starting today, Aug 9th. You must post a picture and list of items used in your creation by midnight your time on Sept 6th.

Cheers to everyone, and happy building!

Does something like the 3 items from a hardware store, or 3 items of your choosing, count for 1 item, as it's one bullet point on your list, or does it count for the total number of items you used form that location. Apologies for being a bit dense  Undecided.

P.S. Does a craft store happen to count as a hardware store >.>

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
    Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Ignore the 2nd "3 items from a hardware store."

Sulecen- 3 items from a location mean 3 different things from one place, so you will have a total of 3 items to use in your creation from the one point. I hope that makes sense. And no, craft store is not a hardware store.

Oh for another three weeks to make the stuff i need to for the Asylum steampunk weekend. Unfortunately I will have to decline this one as I have more outfits than one can shake a stick at to make for the Lady Inkerman for the aforementioned gathering of notables. It really is a shame because I had a great idea for something (which I will now have to keep under my hat for another time).

Would absolutely love to do this, and if I can whip something up whislt in Alberta, I will post a picture, but I put no promise upon anything, for I am out visiting relatives. However I will have access to a large pile of semi working automobiles for a few days. I intend to steal as much as I can from them. WE SHALL SEE.

I really want to accept this challenge, but I am not sure if I will be able to do anything.

I am out of my own country until Aug 23, and leaving the country again on Aug 29, which gives me less than 1 week to put something together.

What I heck I accept.  this gives me 2 weeks to plan and one to build.

Quick question, does it have to be for my noggin, or can I make something for the Wife or possible my kids?
