I love seeing steamy shoes!   Those are quite adorable, and I love the color (although I pretty much always go with brown or black *sigh*)

Here are my newest ones:

what yummy shoes I say! I must take a picture of my lace-up leather Victorian boots that are quite like those. I found them in a charity shop. I have size 7 (UK) feet which means it's really hard for me to find vintage shoes in my size.

Hello ladies (distinguished or not  Grin) I was wondering if I may join your tea/gin room. I found out today that one of my favorite online communities is no longer allowing any off topic discussions and I need a new net haunt to keep me busy while at work!

I know right? It is a website for an author but in the 4 years or so I have been a member it has always been a nice balance of some off topic threads and some book related threads...we even kept them in the areas they needed to be in...

And thank you for the offer of gin...I mean chair, yah, chair

I think I've found a perfect dres for the Soiree. Its got a black velvet bodice to with rope ties at the front and a red and black thin striped full skirt. If I pleat  up the skirt to give it body and twin it with some long black gloves and mini top hat I might not have to buy anything other then some new boots Cheesy

Good evening Ladies and guests,

So this is where you have all been hiding!

Now may I help myself to a restorative pink gin please. I have had a busy day planning for this seasons excursions and what to wear to each event. So far I have decided what to wear this Friday to Leeds to see the delightful 'Men who will be blamed for anything a women wants! or something like that. Saturdays event will be steamy belly dancing in a bustle with a cog decorated bra/dance top. Sunday we may pop into the Kellam Island Sheffield Victorian market. So I will be properly attired from head to ankle.

Such planning is certainly exhausting,

An other Gin please!

What is everyone else wearing to all the upcoming balls etc?

yours Lady Elsie.
