My love life you ask? I am trying, I do have my eye on a few bonny lasses, but how that turns out, I know not how well. Alas, I am not one of charismatic stylings.
Sorry. Anywhom, how be your love life yourself?

So night before last my kitty girl Aveenia started coughing. Kitties do that occasionally but she was doing it a LOT so we went to the vet yesterday. They did xrays and tests. I knew about the heart murmur which she has had since she was a kitten but her heart is slightly enlarged and she has inflammation of her lungs. The heartworm tests came back negative, but they still don't know what is causing her to have trouble breathing.

There is a theory that she is prone to asthma and something triggered it. A few nights ago she had a huge scare when what we believe to have been a deer walked past the window and she freaked out to an extent we have never before seen. If that is the case then she should get better quickly.

She is responding to the meds they gave her, only had one short coughing fit last night. We have to watch her closely and take her back next week.

This means we won't know if we are actually going to PAX till Tuesday or Wednesday. If she is better enough that she can be left for 3 days then we can go, if not then we can't. Just have to wait and see. The other option is to have her stay at the vet's for a few days. If we had someone who could house sit while we are gone then it wouldn't be an issue but we don't, so we go only if she is going to be fine.

Agreed. Money makes the world go around. But gin (or whisky) makes it go around twice as fast!

I need a tall, stiff drink. I'm getting all teary-eyed right now, and I'd rather not.

With some sad music, then some happier music, then happy music. It works for me at least.

That won 't work. I'll just get annoyed with the music if I am in a bad mood.

"Rrose Sélavy, or Rose Sélavy, was one of the pseudonyms of artist Marcel Duchamp. The name, a pun, sounds like the French phrase "Eros, c'est la vie", which translates to English as "eros, that's life". It has also been read as "arroser la vie" ("to make a toast to life")."
