Last time I smashed that vehicle into a big ol' tree this one-eyed man came along,

Did he have a single leg, and a single arm also?

I suspect he had two arms and two legs, as well as two pet ravens and an eight-legged horse.

Why, how'd you guess?  Either way, he was pretty perturbed at first, until I offered him some of my drink and the aforementioned extra ham, and pointed out that the damage to my vehicle was considerably greater than that to the tree, which repaired itself effectively instantly.  I also helped pick up the fallen Runes, and he gave me copies, and now he's on my holiday card list.  I have to use a different calendar though, than the one for all those Realtors.  But all's well that ends well.

Oh and darkshines, his son has a huge hammer; this proved useful in dislodging my vehicle from the tree. It gave me a jump start as well, which in my experience most hammers won't do.  Very strange place.  But I think I can find my way back there should the need ever arise.  I sure hope none of that ends up for sale!  Especially that wonderful hall of theirs...some things really should stay in the family.

Maybe the realtors won't try to take it over.

I'm off to hang out with my second oldest close friend (time I've known her wise)
Then with my third oldest close friend and her!

You can have your Duke any day, but I'd rather borrow Mr.Hogarth for a half of cider my dear.

*laughing* Very well. I always remember to look for the man that hung himself in that first picture. I never really noticed it until it was pointed out to me.

Gin! It'll be the death of all of us.  Grin

Hey hunny! I hope you had fun! Today I am wearing my new 1930s style flapper dress and hat, and Cowperthwaite and I are off to see the Banksy exhibition in Bristol. I loooove Banksy Smiley

Hastings, hi.  Either I can't sleep, or I don't want to.  Either way, I'm here.

Hello hello.
I don't think I want to sleep, To much has happened today, and I'm trying to figure out, but all in all, I don't want to think about it.
May I ask, how are you?

I cleaned my house today, from top to bottom.

Are we both running back and forth from here to the Q/A Chain Thread?

Hastings, this has been terribly fun, but all this running back and forth, and having cleaned my whole house today...it is all catching up with me.
Words blurring.  Eye lids closing.  *nods off in front of computer*.  ZZZzzz

Really, I've got to get to bed.  It is 1:30 am here.
Good morning.

Indeed, I should call it a night myself. But I wont.
I thank you greatly for the time spent, and wish you the best for the rest of today.
Good morning indeed,

Dr. Hastings.
