EGAD! A miscreant Venusian rock-heater beetle!

Greetings one and all!

It is my distinct pleasure and honour to announce the formation of a new e-group dedicated to promoting and furthering all things Steampunk in the area of Birmingham, Alabama, USA. We are (tentatively) the Birmingham Regional Association of Steampunk Savants - B.R.A.S.S. - founded this day following a party that drew no less than 45 steampunk fans(and several more than that, I do believe.)

Our new group can be found online at:

If you are anywhere within driving range (the party had people from as far away as Tallahassee, FL - some 6 hours' driving time!) please feel free to join our happy new crew.

Carpe diem!

I had a ton of fun today (Or yesterday, now) meeting everyone. I'll try to work on my confidence between now and when I see everyone again.
