I've finally got my current PC case creation to a usable state to I thought I'd post up some pictures.

As you can see the Harddrives are not mounted, switches and lights are just sticking out, and there needs to be more ventilation.

Once finished I'm going to varnish the base, while the monitor mount will be painted black and made to look like iron.

The PSU is sitting on a platform off the central column (on the right). The various cables will be wrapped in cloth to keep them neat and in keeping with the case. Hard Drives will be attached to the left of the column.

Any worries about ventilation? I take it you've got that covered.

I was originally thinking of staining the base and painting the arm and tower like blackened iron, But now i'm thinking of painting all of it.

I've added vents to the front and rear, but the CPU fan has to work a little noisy for my liking. So I've making another vent above the PCI slots, this one will have a ducted fan. I've got an old duct from another case that would look the part.

On a common PC case the power supply fan pulls air from the case.  In your case an extra fan to pull warm air out would be helpful.
