Not being any where near London, I view it online. The Nemi link appears broken and any searches for Nemi in Metro's website were fruitless and searches elsewhere send me to the same broken link. I just figured she was cancelled.
You can pick up loads of Nemi collections 2nd hand on Amazon for less than $5 each if you're having serious 'Nemi Withdrawal'.

If you have a working link to Nemi at the Metro online, I'd greatly appreciate it. None of the ones I've been able to find work. Thanks for the tip, Rockula. I like Nemi, but my fandom doesn't extend to purchasing, though. Akumabito: Yep, I liked the soundrack a great deal also. I particularly enjoyed the carnival-like sounds of the violin.

To no one's surprise, the Holmes sequel looks like it is being fast-tracked for production with Guy Ritchie again directing. markf http://scifiwire.com/2010/01/lobo-loses-its-director-t.phpRemember that live-action Lobo movie that producer Joel Silver was getting ready for Sherlock Holmes director Guy Ritchie? Well, scratch Ritchie from that, according to the Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex blog .. Guy Ritchie has set aside the planned "Lobo" film to clear his schedule for a fast-tracked "Holmes" sequel, according to producer Joel Silver. ... Silver is a producer of "Holmes" as well as "Lobo," which would adapt the ultra-violent antihero from the pages of DC Comics. ..."I don't think he's going to do it now," Silver said of Ritchie directing "Lobo." "The studio wants us and Guy to focus on making another 'Sherlock Holmes.' So I think we're going to be doing that. But we're seeing what happens with this. Everybody is analyzing everything. It's all kind of happening right now as we talk. 'Sherlock' is sitting at just about $400 million in worldwide gross and showing itself to be pretty effective and pretty strong. So we're trying to see if we can do something quickly with another 'Sherlock Holmes' movie. We have some ideas and some good story points." Silver, who previously said the script for the DC Comics adaptation was finished, adds that the movie may move forward with a different director.

They could put Lobo IN the next Holmes movie. Cut, print, that's a wrap!

@markf Just so long as they don't go the way of the last two Pirates of the Caribbean films and start filming without a finished scrip. And yes, the soundtrack is amazing. I've had to revise my opinion on Hans Zimmer after hearing it.

Man, Lobo would rule.....
BTW, I finally saw the new Sherlock on DVD. I really enjoyed it, particularly Downy's performance and the fighting. Can I just say how bloody nice it was not to be subjected to the man's frelling origin story? That's all you get with super-heroic characters (interesting characters in general, not just Super Heroes) anymore, and I'm sick of it. It was a really nice change to just be dropped right into the middle of their lives here, without watching them pensively build their skill set. I look forward to the sequel.

I really enjoyed this film. The actors performances were spot on, the costumes were superb, and the music was incredible! I think this was the first film I watched in a while that I hardly paid any mind to the CGI. Good show!

The DVD version stands up extremely well though doesn't beat my first time cinema experience of the film, when I was so close to the screen it was like watching it in 3D!

My DVD has been mailed so I'll be getting to see this next week. I don't go to the cinema anymore. I have got a 46" LCD and I will sit close to recreate the 'cinema' experience WITHOUT the distractions of crunching, slurping and chatter.

Bought the DVD in an airport on the way to London, watched it on my pal's laptop on the plane...!!!
Now, I LOVE this movie, as I've said before, but I was really hoping for some more special features...I'm kind of a sucker for DVDs that have a special featurette on costuming, I was kinda hoping SH would have one...also hoping for perhaps a bit on Bartitsu (mis-spelled 'Baritsu' in the first of the Doyle stories featuring Moriarty) and Victorian/Edwardian martial arts... but alas! There is but a little piece on 're-inventing Holmes'.
Oh, well.

The bluray has it, which I have. Looks like, nowadays, their saving the special features for movies for the bluray.

They'll probably also release a special"collector's edition" DVD with all the fluff. Why pass up a perfectly good opportunity to double dip?

The general trend is to put the good stuff on Blu-Ray first. I am, as yet, unconvinced in the advantages of the newer format. I have yet to see a film that has given me any true 'wow' factor in the upgrade. And until a combi-DVD/Blu-Ray RECORDER is released at a sensible price I will stick mainly with DVD.

I can tell you, the upgrade is worth it. My laptop has a large widescreen. DVDs look incredibly pixelated when played in full-screen on my computer. I can sharpen them up but they still look kinda muddy. Blu-rays are sharp as a tack and I can spot details that I would miss in dvd. I'd say, that the best way to see the difference is with a special-effects heavy movie. First bluray I bought was the recent star Trek movie and watching it in bluray was enough of a wow-factor for me. Sherlock Holmes looks great too, especially all the little details in his apartment and the scenes overlooking London.

I can certainly agree with this. Plus Rachel McAddams in High Def is NEVER a bad thing. Check out "Gamer" as well, the movie is $#!+, but the movie was filmed on the Red One and it looks amazing on Blu-Ray. In your average theater I'd say that you could screen the Blu-Ray and nobody would notice a difference. Logan
