If anything, I need to post more, though not much seems to be happening with Conlan aside from a breif scuffle, some coffee-induced vomiting, and a so-far one sided conversation woth a whore.
Speaking of which, are you still playing Conlan's new friend? He won't be doing anything illicit with her, aside from being a good catholic boy, he's got a much more odd taste in women.

I need to find more car ones, I think. Skinner doesn't strike me as a Cadilac. Or was it a Chevrolet? Both would be too fancy. I'm thinking more along the lines of a Ford, or Rover, perhaps...

I have to add three more siblings, and one Son. That's such a strange thought... What a BIG family it is...
Depending on how creative I get, I'll add her neices and nephews, too. Just need to come up with more names... Yeesh!

I am interested in joining this game, if there is any room of course.

Name: Francis Daniel Skinner

Age: 37

Occupation: Francis is a freelance Mercenary and Mechanic affiliated with none of the main organizations.

Appearance: Francis stands at 6"6' with a broad, hairy chest and strong  arms from constant repairs on rigs when he is hired. He has short, brown hair with the occasional gray hair, predominantly on his temples. His eyes are an icy blue, but always bloodshot from a lack of sleep and the hostile environment that he inhabits. He has a multitude of scars, the most visible is the scar on his upper lip from a knife fight many years ago. His torso has various stab and bullet wound scars from an unknown origin. His legs are very powerful from years of hiking and running across loose sand.

Nationality: Considered to be Cornish

Weapon of choice: Francis, unable to purchase  fancy firearms from the Atrium's, tends to use whatever he can find. He most commonly uses a modified rivet-gun that has had the safety blocks removed and the pressure greatly increased. In close-quarter combat, Francis tends to use a variety of improvised weapons, such as wrenches, screw-drivers and drill bits.

Attire: Most of Francis' attire has been scavenged from soldiers, raider and corpses he has found in the desert. He wears an old officers trench-coat with the tails frayed from constant abuse from the wind and the occasional attack. He stiched a heavy, leather hood under the collar to protect his head from the sun. Under the coat, he wears a plain, white vest and a suede tool-kit/ammo belt. His trousers and foot-wear and stolen from a drunken soldier he found in a small settlement between Cornwall and London. He wears a pair of sand-scratched aviation goggles to protect his eyes from the constant sand-storms and a military respirator with the filter canister attached to his belt.

Background: Born in a small farming settlement near Cornwall, Francis always showed and aptitude with machines, repairing the family Half-track/Tractor at the age of 15. He was recruited by the Stonehenge Atrium military to be a combat mechanic at the age of 17. He accepted and was put straight on the front lines after 7 weeks of training. 3 years passed and after his platoon was wiped out, he went A.W.O.L.. He spent 6 years under the service of the Ironsides until he considered their actions as acts of terrorism. Since then, he had wondered the wastelands, assisting those who need his help, for a small fee of course...

He's old enough to be her older cousin, on her father's side.

If he was the son of Charles' older brother, (who could easily have gone into farming rather than piloting), who married a Cornish woman with brown hair, that would easily explain why he doesn't have the recessive yet typical Skinner Ginger Gene. And his eyes are blue, and typically if this generation haven't come out with Mary's green eyes, the Skinnerfolk have Blue eyes.

So it could conceivably have every chance of working. Or, if not, then not.

It just seems too odd coming across two folk in the after armageddon world that have the same last name, especially in a small place like England.  That also could give reasons why he comes aboard, if he does, or just getting involved in general.

I do want to get this game moving again, though I know everyone probably has exams and such. (I do too, but I'm a horrible student....  ) If there's not much posts after I while I'll move it ahead to the next day.

I've got exams from now till the 18th, but I shouldn't be any less regular than I am. I'm kinda waiting on Aeryenne, who's got problems with her compy at the moment.

I think Mina is waiting on Nigel, or Johnsix.

Ah well, I'll let things sort themselves out until the 16th or so, when my exams end. If it's still not done I'll just steam it ahead, but I think that's time.

It's alright... the game is in sort of slowdown mode until Skinner, I and whoever else finish their exams. After that I'll make sure it gets rolling along. Feel free to post though, anyone.

Well, posted. Probably one of my biggest posts on this site as of yet. I think that will provide some interesting plot.
Also Mina, Sorry If it felt like I was mis-using Kat. I can always change it, if you would prefer.

oh its fine. i actually like how you portrayed her. you also saved a LOT of time and posting by throwing all that dialogue into one post, rather than just have us go back and forth for a few days.

I wish we could have jumped in and saved her, but a detour makes for a better adventure.
