I think Dear is going to find out the kitty is nice but right now it is the biggest animal she has ever seen so she is scared stiff.

LOL so's poor Grimaulking! Cheesy

Actually, I suppose I should stick with the legitimate spelling and make it "Grimaukin"
the reference is to both the Scottish legend of the cat of the faerie, and to the old belief that any evil-looking she-cat is a grimaulkin, etc.

I can't see how that was even 15 minutes IC time.

And a big shame because, despite all the hinting she gave, no one waited for Aeryenne to post in...

It's alright, it's done now. Just leave it.

Also, can I ask that people warn when they've drastically changed their posts? Even little extra snippets of dialogue can make a big difference to the reactions that follow; For instance, if Malc had warned me that he had changed his post to make the big cat seemed friendlier, Skinner might have been less afraid of her, and less likely to draw her gun.

It's just I've noticed people just arbitrarily removing or adding parts of their posts, big parts, that then make the following responses seem, well, contrary. I can understand going in and making quick edits to change a phrase order, or gramatical mishaps, or going back /very quickly/ to add or subtract things, but a note would be nice if you decide to change the course of reality after other folks have already responded.

((And yes I do see the irony in the fact that this post is now showing as edited...))

Yes, that would be appreciated. As well, although I appreciate the unbounded enthusiasm, I would appreciate if on occasion everyone waited for a particular player, as Skinner mentioned with Aeryenne. I know posting is addictive, but not everyone can do it as often and it's nice if everyone's ideas get followed through.

Folks, I have apparently ingested something overnight that I definitely should not have; I am therefore rather ill at the moment. Hopefully by late this evening, or early tomorrow, I will be back in shape and posting. Please feel free to move Malc or Grimaulkin or Molly around as you see fit, or alternatively, I'll make him/them/both fit the thread when i'm back to my usual degree of human (?) normality.

Thanks, MWBailey

OK. My head and my stomach are no longer fighting a mutual territorial war(lol); unfortunately, my brain is a casualty of said war, and is having trouble remembering
1. what comes next.
3. Are we waiting for someone? If so, whom?
4. what needs to happen in the near future (besides Malc hooking Molly to the back of the rig)?
5.How long should Malc's watch stint be?

I'm not being sarcastic; I just seem to have a head full of wool. (more so than usual).

Well, I'm letting Malc take a watch with Royce... to make things... convenient for Skinner. Royce has got her back in that department.  Grin

I don't think there's anything we're waiting for - Red seems to have little chance of coming back. All we really need to do is wake up and finish going back to Brizzle, sell the loot, store the rest... (It may be a good idea to invest in a permanent garage in that Atrium, or such.)

Then I/Royce will put on the thinking cap and figure another profitable venture...

I have a couple vague ideas for treasure hunts:

*Some of the old smuggler's caves in Cornwall, there may be some that haven't been raided already (we can kiss ass to them and maybe they'll give us Fudge!! Cheesy)

*Also, while we're down there, look for Camelot? Or at least sneak around Tintagel

*Sneak into Lancashire with Royce hidden under a bunk so he can see his sweetheart again

*Cross over into the Wilds of Wales, see if there's still gold in the Black Hills and Brecon Beacons

*Go on a Scots Hunting Rampage across Mercia. Kill anyone we find, as long as they don't look too much like Red. Although it might be wise to forbid Skinner from use of a gun during such in case she DOES spot Red.

*Glastonbury Tor? There might be some big, fat, gold crosses and religious artifacts buried around there?

*Cheddar Gorge! Might look for gold, and not find it, but the caves are pretty spectacular. (And romantic... Nigel, Stella... =P)
