Cordelia? Who is this Cordelia that everyone keeps on calling me? My name is Cornelia, with an "n". Not a "d".

It's Saturday, my day off, and I still got up at my normal 6 am! Any of you care for some Turkish coffee, it's almost done? Guaranteed to keep you going for the rest of the day I've got some lokum somewhere too....

Drinks all around as although I failed at the little flutter on the horses yesterday the pressing of my buttonhole (a red carnation, for those who may be interested) appears to have worked this year. Swings and roundabouts, you know?

Well I got a not quite datish thing comming up on tuesday. One of my friends has a lover now and he's in that enuthisastic match maker stage. Both me and the girl I'll be meeting up with agree that what happens happens. I'm kinda hopping it becomes more, but I wont pine or hold my breath for it. She is cute though. A brandy bar tender!

Mr. Harrison, your stocks are safe for a while. The dirigible from the brewery is landing on the lawns. I'll send the automatons to unload and stock the cellar.
But maybe they should just bring one barrel of rum straight here, eh? is one barrel enough for...this evening? I'll ask them to bring two and put the other 40 downstairs.
That's reassuring. Once the 15 bottles are gone, and the barrel I've got down in the cellar, that leaves only two barrels and four further bottles left. I don't want to alarm anyone unduly but that's enough for.... about 3 nights' sustenance. I'm running desperately low on my stocks of the stuff. * saunters in from the hall * that's not nearly enough gentlemen; shall I have my still, erm, brewery fired up?

Mike can snag some communion wine from any church in the world, and it'll never be missed; but do we wish to sink to drinking cheap, sour, watered-down wine? Plus I'm not one hundred percent on drinking anything that fellow provides...

Sure, have some from my flask, but I'll warn you...Mike gave me that too.
Don't take any of his ice, it won't keep your drink cold and you'll break a tooth. He's a little literal about the "on the rocks" part. Normal H2O ice is available at our regular bar, but I'd ask for it specifically by name and chemical formaula.

So, here's me not being able to sleep after some sitting up with people, and coming off the buzz of a nice Cavendish and Germain-Robin, and watching Glee. And singing along, to my great shame. Geeeeeeek...

It could be worse, Acheron. You could be a slavish fan of Glee, after all, a fate I would say worse than death.
Oh, if anyone smells varnish, that'll be my steam launch drying off in the workshop. I was doping it outside but it was just too hot... I think I'll have a glass of ice with a dash of lemonade in it just to cool off. Not the done thing to drink before the sun's over the yardarm, you know.

The suns always over the yardarm somewhere... In fact, I'm thinking of having a floor-level yardarm installed, just to make sure.
