I am considering shelling out exorbitant amounts of money on this book - can anyone who has it tell me if it is worth it? I hear it is the best book in its field.

Its the cream of the crop on watchmaking and watchmaiking as an art, (especially if you like Daniel's designs)..
It's not necessarily the best text for learning or an introduction to the art, though..
Its a real eye-opener, though...

(no I don't have a copy, but I have seen it once in the library non-circuclating section)
