A new one or two that might tickle your fancy...

Recreated from an earlier icon, this one is larger and has more detail so that you can resize if you wish or use "as-is". I will be creating .ICO and .ICNS icons from this later. The cabinet was scratch-built as was the gauge and crank handle using photoshop.

Bigger version below:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Get it here:

Please vote! There is an evil bu@@er on rocketdock who always votes my icons down but bad or good, either way I'll be happy, as all votes help.

Well, I do appreciate what you've created Smiley  And I appreciate my son for putting me onto Rocketdock and Rainmeter.  Without him, I wouldn't have known about all this, or taken the time to mess with it all.  Now, if I could just find that desk you made in real life... Cheesy

What you want is a Hollerith Tabulator. It acts as a desk and a computer all in one. It is possible to buy them but expect to pay a bit of cash for one from a museum.

Very nice, thank you!  They're now in my collection, and I know I'll find a use for them somewhere.  I'm always making new folders and I can't bear to look at the default ones any more.

@Ktara - please, any suggestions for any new icons will always be heard. If you have an application that is also commonly used by others then I would be happy to see if I can provide.

Well, my Rocketdock is thus:

Show Desktop
RD Settings
My Computer
Network
My user folder
Libraries
Abney Park playlist
separator
Recycle bin
Task Manager
Control Panel
Dual Monitor settings
Google Earth
Notepad
Firefox
Poppeeper (my email checker)
separator
Minecraft
Guild Wars 2
The Secret World

Everything else on my desktop is mainly folders, and those aren't even typical.  I did manage to change my pdf icon so that it looks like a piece of parchment with a book in the middle.  I believe that came from that huge British Museum(?) pack that's on Deviantart.

I don't know what to suggest right now, but I'll think on it.  I'm just looking through your RD pages, and oh my you've been busy!  I'm grabbing some of those that I don't have.  I think my RD bar will soon be changed Smiley

You're simply amazing, keep up the good work sir!

Rocketdock - once you are logged in you open the item and click on the fifth of the five stars...

That gives the download a five start rating!   Grin

Thanks to you for doing it.

Excuse this one changing, I wasn't happy with it so I've added a few bits 'n bobs from time to time.
Now looks very nice on a dark background

If you get bored and need a new icon to make, I would love a steamy Illuminati eye-type symbol.  It's for my Secret World icon.  I found that one I have in the above picture somewhere on the internet, but I really don't like it much.  Something with brass and gears would be smashing, but really anything you could come up with would suffice, I'm sure Smiley  I do rather like the phoptero-nixie, but the 8 doesn't have much meaning for me.
