I am new to steampunk and love it, but I have not yet started constructing my costume or other things. I would love to meet others with this passion that could give me some guidance on how to start.
I would also like input from members of this forum on the topic of a steampunk themed haunted house to be opened here in Austin. This is the first mention anywhere outside of my partnership about it, so you won't find anything about it anywhere online.
Well, Several of us will probably be at Elysium again this weekend. And I LOVE the Haunted House idea. Come out this weekend. I'd be more than happy to sit with you for a spot and chat about costume ideas or anything else SP. |

I usually am at least wearing my top hat and goggles. What I'll actually be wearing this weekend will be entirely dependant on which of the packages I'm expecting shows up by friday night (since saturday is too busy to go by the house and check for more) |

So, i've spoken with SP people here in san antonio, and it seems that May 16th is going to be the best day for most of us. I still need to go to the park and scope out the the *perfect* location, but I'm thinking that 2pm 5/16/09 is a pretty set timeframe!

So far, I'm looking at a minimum of 3 locals other than myself, realically rpobably 6 or 8. I've invited several people, but there isn't a date in the aether where everyone is free. Evil still, with yours, mione, and to forumers, we're set to have a great showing! |

I'd love to make it to the show in New Braunfels, but it's doubtful due to crazy scheduling for the next couple of weeks. Hope you guys have a great time. Be sure to post photos!
BTW, is anyone else going to see Morrissey this Sunday? A friend and I are meeting up for dinner before the show(right now we're trying to figure out which restaurants will be open on the holiday).
