Hmmm? Oh, where did everybody go?
Oh, well, I guess I will have another Belhaven's.
Has anyone seen my plans for that armed steam launch? I think Zaharoff snagged them and nipped out the back.
Oh, no, not again... Anyone have a cable address for Reilly?
Cheers!
Chas.

Good evening chaps and......... Oh, I say, bit quite in here, what?
Landlord, do you think the level of dodo poo might be putting customers off - it is the 19th century you know? Never mind, I'll have a shovel and 2 pints of London Pride, one now and one when I've finished it.

What ho chaps, how do ye do? Sorry about the old pile of poo, I'm just waiting for a steam tipper to come and pick it up. I was wondering if we dried it, if it will burn in a firebox? Two pints of Pride m'dear and and a top up whatever my chums are drinking. Thank you
Ahhh there's the tiper now, soon have this sorted...
*opens double bar room doors and steam tipper hisses and wheezes it way backwards into the bar, startling three slumbering customers and two dodos from under a table*

Well, I need a drink now.
Been well and truly burned, over on Geographical.
Hope you have something dark and peaty, with "Glen" somewhere in the title.
Thanks.
Cheers!

*goes behind bar and blows dust off bottles*
AH! Here's the good stuff - this should be what your after, Captain Lyerly... You have a choice of Saurian brandy or Glenlivet single malt....
....
....
I'd take the Glenlivet, the brandy seems to be green, and smells like..... petrol!??!

I say, has anyone seen the Caterpillar? He was here, then there was a large puff of smoke, and now he - AND the hookah - along with that mushroom, oddly enough, are missing!
Ah, well, I think there are a few more hookahs around - no 'hookah' puns please, this is a higher-class establishment than that! - and I am sure there were several boxes of sheesha around. No, please do NOT fish that awful stuff out of the persian slipper on the wall! Ugh, how Holmes can stand that horrible stuff I well never know. Ah, yes, some nice apple mix, just the ticket.
Anyone care to join me by the fire? There was a discussion going on about shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages, and kings.
Cheers!
Chas.
