Is that Plaistow, Lun Dun, or Plaistow, West Sussex?
I only ask, as to get to West Sussex, you'll need two tokens, one of the palest blue, and one of a sort of minty-beigey-bluey-orangey-purple.

We are using that colour scheme? Egads! I need my very-differently-shaded spectacles.

Hmm... well, if he'd played the red token and sickle, he could have used the 'Any Metro' card, which allows any line that shares it's name with the Metropolitan line wild...
Mr. Albrecht, are you prepared to surrender your red token?

One moment. Am I missing out on something or is this actually your first move in this instance of the game? Unless I am mistaken about this fact, it is not allowed to use said pamphlet unless you have first crossed the Thames twice and/or purchased a curry at an Indian Restaurant somewhere along the way. Referee please.

Seconded on the foul! The footnote on page 42 specificly states that a player must have purchased a medium sized order of curry and shared it with a government official prior to crossing the Thames for the second time.

It is generally accepted that one can pop a pakora in a policemans pocket at Westminster to fulfill the spirit of the rule if not the letter of the law. Here though I think Pride comes before a Phal.

I'm going to rule in favour of Mr. Gazongola, as we're playing by the 1812 Moscow rules, the Waterloo amendmant allows an annanounced, unseeded player to perform a Brooke-Taylor 'Bounce', and nip in and steal the prize.
As long as he's very, VERY generous to the Chairthing...

The choice goes to Gazongola, who will also chair the next round per the rules. DB

Yes Yes... Gazongola, the next rule set please. I was just better than halfway through a risky move when this game ended, and I am itching to try a different strategy that I just read about in Nat'l Geo.

Very well. I think that I will choose Rule set No. 73 of the 1879 rules as set down by the Rt. Hon. Lord Grosvenor, in the case of R v Sax-Coburg-Gothe.
Aces ARE wild and green tokens must be discarded after the Sutton Coldfield Turnpike.
British Rail Sandwiches can be exchanged for an informative leaflet on spooning.
We shall commence once the wheels have been tapped.
....and go.
