Hold it! The TARDIS amendment is fully acceptable even under earlier rulesets. Its very nature allows it to transcend ordinary time.
The move is illegal anyway. The 2005 Eccleston Clause prohibits any moves to and from Gallifrey.

Touché! The only response, given the 1900 ruleset (1st Draft), is a bit sneaky, but:
King William Street
Two Verdigris Northern Line tokens, please!

No, Goodge Street just makes it far too easy.
Particularly under the 1900 ruleset (1st Draft), with more than seven players.
Now if it had been the third draft with five players or less that would have been a good strategy, but as it is...
Mornington Crescent
So, I guess the next game should be played under the 1895 rule set, Bishop Stortford variant.
For those who are new to the game that means that Places of worship are wild, the East London line is closed on Wednesdays, and Offside moves are allowed.

Congratulations, Z, you're the new chairthing, I presume.
One clarification is needed though. Was the double spoon clause effective in 1895? There's also the issue with lateral torque present in that edition...

Yes, the double spoon clause was effective, and I'm afraid you're going to have to work around the lateral torque issue. We can only play the rules as they are, not as we would like them to be. And don't forget that in this edition you spoon overrides nip and vice versa, the spoon-nip paradox is not possible. Z.

I still need some more clarification. What happened to the double nip of 1892? Is it effective under the 1895 rules?

Although the chairperson would be the final arbiter on the matter, I believe the double nip of 1892 was modified under the 1895 Bishop Stortford variant to be only sub-critical in turnwise play.

Double spoon is of course not possible except on the Docklands Light Railway. So, is anyone going to make an opening move or are we going to discuss the minutia of the rules instead? Z.

I have to say that we have seen some masterful play so far and this game looks like it's going to be up to the same high standards as the previous ones.
