Crown treatment reminds me of the old BuShips canteen style dive watches from the WWII era

To put things in perspective from the price point, the ETA 2824 mechanicalmovement used in the automatics runs about $140.00 (less in wholesale) and the ETA 805.11 quartz costs about $11.00 (its not a great movement, either, plastic plates, no jewels, non-repairable sealed unit, as ooposed to the ETA 955 series of the same size, which has 7 jewels, and metal plates, costing about $30.00 each..)
