Greetings again everyone!

Some of you may have seen some of these pictures before, albeit smaller,
on a previous post here ('Opinions desperately required, apply within'
23/1/09), but quite a few of you said you'd like to see
pictures showing more detail, especially of some of the fairies, so as
promised I made a few of the pictures bigger so you can see more detail,
and got down the fairies and took close up pictures of 3 of them so you
can get a better look at their faces and fingers etc, and also see the
pretty wings a bit better Smiley

For those who've not seen these pictures before, basically, my business partner and I are
propmakers but he's not really into the steampunk aesthetic as much as I, however,
I've convinced him to make some pretty things to adorn my place:)
Although we really had lots of fun making them, we can't really afford to
devote too much 'work' time to making bits and pieces without a bit of
remuneration for time, so it led me to put up some piccies here to
guage opinions and interest in them so far, and also to get some ideas for
any future pieces from you fine people, since you know best what you like
and might be interested in!

The comments from the previous post have suggested that perhaps people might
after all be interested in them as products so in the next week some of these
pieces will hopefully be up and ready to go on Ebay, so I  shall post a reply to
this when they are up and put the links up in the trading section since I think
that's probably the most appropriate bit of the forum for them Smiley The ones going
on Ebay are in fact mine *sniffle* to see what happens, as we're too busy to make
new ones, but he has however signed a pact to make me repeats of the fairies
and thuly if they sell, and the originals will hopefully have nice kind loving
homes who will keep them healthily dusty and not feed them after midnight....
that might be something else, but it might be good advice all the same Wink I hope you
like the piccies!

Wide shot of the fairies, mounted like lepidoptery specimens in rosewood cases with labels and each
with information relating to that 'breed' of fairy...I got a bit enthusiastic with writing about them all Smiley

Closer picture of the 'Common English' Fairy, so you can see the teeth and hair and so on Smiley

Close up of the 'Welsh Blue' Fairy with a really nice beetle like sheen to his skin.

Closer on the Welsh Blue's face so you can see his happy smile and fluffy white hair Smiley

A close up of the Speckled English Fairy, they act a bit like magpies hence the chain and bracelet Smiley

A close up on the Speckled English again, but to the side so you can see the detailed teeth and super cute ears! Smiley

The Cthulhu Foetus Specimen Jar surrounded by props

Close up of the Cthulhu Foetus Specimen Jar, this picture makes me smile Smiley

Bigger picture of one barometer shaped cogwork pendant so you can see all the detail Smiley

The other barometer shaped pendant in close up.

A close up of the first cogwork valve pendant Smiley

The second cogwork valve pendant with a tiny ruby in the movement.

So, as before, any comments, opinions or suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thankyou so much in advance for any new comments and retrospectively thank you
to everyone who's already posted, feel free to post again! Thanks again!

Wow, those are fantastic!! I especially love the faeries! They look like some of the ones I've encountered before...

Aww I'm glad you like them clockwork creation Smiley And thank you for the compliment William Lightning, I'm glad they seem familiar...but you've certainly got to be quick with the nets, pins or jars, they're speedy little devils Smiley As you can see, so far they're too fast for me and I have to be satisfied with macabre salvage. But I shall train harder, yes I shall  Grin

Those are wonderful! Is there any possibility that a bit of fairy dust remained on the corpses? Just out of curiosity of course.
