I think the first act was the 'Gothic Belly Dance'.

thank you to everyone who came and made the night the tremendouse success that it was!

i didn't have my own camera for the event, but saw plenty of snaps being taken. if you could send me copies, or put them online or something, make em all accessible to the world that would be most wonderful. Seaton, that picture of Trousseaux is beautiful, i hop you have more!

i will keep you posted about the event in March in Brighton, in a location unused for probably more than 100 years. ooooooooohhhh!

And a big thank you to everyone involved in organizing this event! Looking forward to the next one (do we have to do some Urban Exploration to find the venue?Huh) Smiley If only we all lived in France we could make use of the Catacombes de Paris.

I wonder if they still hire out the Hellfire caves in West Wycombe..?

While I'm here, without giving too much away, do you have any firm date for March? Only I might be able to get a few others along, with enough notice...

We will be in Brighton (hopefully) one weekend in March to pet the Stingrays at the Sealife Centre. The sooner you can confirm the date, the easier it will be for us to co-ordinate this so we can attend!

Dradd (who took the photographs) and me (who played about with them and put them up on Flickr) both use a Creative Commons license, so there is not problem at all with you 'stealing' them for promo stuff Smiley

I really enjoyed your set and look forward to seeing you play at the next Hidden Cabaret event.

Greetings comrades,

the Steampunk Hidden Circus is rolling into the coastal town of Brighton. Time travellers set your coordinates for the 3rd of May 2009.

I will begin a new thread very shortly about the Circus, and will update it as acts become confirmed. The event will be part of the Brighton Fringe Festival, and will be our biggest one yet. Tickets are on sale here:

 http://www.brightonfestivalfringe.org.uk/ticketing/index.aspx?q=steampunk&et=0&tt=0&va=0&dayStart=0&dayEnd=0&offers=0

A little taster first though, Ghostfire will be playing, check em out here: http://www.myspace.com/ghostfire
Robert Rankin fans will be pleased to hear he will be performing on his Flyig V Ukele with his partner on steel drums! She rocks, hard!

If anybody here would like to run a market stall selling their own wares please contact Tarik at CarnivalCatalyst@hotmail.com

we are going to have side show performances all day, so if anybody has anything they would like to brinng to the table, there is still room for you!

Hope to see you all there,

Tarik
