I see that it is a 1pm start. Does anyone know the running order/times each act is going to be on stage?

Well, it's confirmed, I will be there, if you see someone in a black flat cap, brown brushed leather trench coat with a walking stick, that'll be me.

Also goggles.

Well, it turns out that I'm not busy tomorrow, so I might just take the picturesque route via Reigate and the A23 down to sunny Brighton...

Robert and I will be heading down sometime later in the afternoon... I will be sporting my new Airship-pirate Captain's tricorn (with valve attachments) and both of us will be sporting tweeds. Please do come over and introduce yourselves.
( I know this is a little late in the day, but VIRGIN have only just deigned to visit us in order to mend our internet connection)

Oh wonderful! I can't wait to meet you.
I'm going to head down there for about 1.30-2P.M. I have a brown bob, and will be wearing black and brown in nondescript Steampunk attire plus goggles of course. Grin

Unfortunately, due to hideously poor planning and a clash of events, I am unable to attend the event. I will be a mere half mile away, but frustratingly will be otherwise engaged.

Hope to see you in September!

Wonderful event. Nice to meet some of the BG members in person. Well worth the trip down to Brighton Smiley

Tips hat to Mich for a great performance. All the acts were very good and there was an interestingly eclectic mix to keep the audience entertained. I will link some photographs when I get them.

I think the next event is going to be 'Steampunk Hidden...Circus'.

Sorry I didn't make it, I think the dead elk took too much out of me last week, as I basically slept all day!

Sad

Looking forward to the pictures!

-Awakens-

A most excellent afternoon/evening. Top 3 Highlights of the Cabaret were I think Mich, Dr Elemental and Birdeatsbaby.

To cap it all off, I found clock mechanism on the way home!

Oh that is so kind of you to say ( to be honest I wasn't sure what people thought) because I felt a bit like I was floundering around as I had to go through the other bar, outside and up an iron staircase in the dark to get to the backstage door to then get onstage in that silly crinoline and eyepatch...
I also heard that the dancer before me also used the same music I had ( not that I minded) but I was on straight after her, so thought I might bore the audience to tears....
So that comment means a lot thankies! Grin

Was a grand little excursion from deepest darkest Hampshire.  Cool

Enjoyed the evening's entertainment immensely - My only complaint about Mich's set that it was a little short... I felt the opening act dragged on a bit, and as Mich's act was more visual, more of it would have been welcome.

But I have to say Elemental stole the evening for me - total class. Rather enjoyed Trousseux too.  Wink

More of these events are needed.

Cheers

Would like to thank all those who organised last nights quiet!! little soiree and to those who strutted their steamy stuff...

Photo's are on their way, however some sort of glitch is preventing me uploading successfully.. ho hum...

Was good to be able to put a physical form to the aethereal presence...

My ony regret was the lack of trains after 11:30 next time I need a hotel room (or the car)

Congrats to all, roll on the next one

Well, in one of my moments of increased madness (as opposed to normal operating madness), I did attempt a clockwork rountine, but was rubbish at it, so I am aware of just how hard it is to pull of a convincing clockwork movement (or perhaps I'm not, sinceI never made it work...). Anyhow, the convincing clockwork movement was very impressive and a great improvement over the opening act version (which segued into regular dance halfway through for some reason).
