Hey Guys,

I'm running a fashion show for Anime Central: www.acen.org

We have many openings for runway models! People who are interested entering must be able to provide their own outfits. We are also looking for people to donate outfits just for the show.

The categories that we need people for are:

Lolita
Decora
Visual Kei
Steampunk

For more info email Janet at: kittiekandiekhaos@gmail.com

SP and Lolita I'm familiar with- but can you describe Decora & Visual Kei, and/or show some examples? It sounds intriguing.

Here's a bit of an introduction to Decora. It's so cute!

Decora: "Decora" comes from the word "Decoration"
tripped out, cute, and bright clothing, with many layers, TONS of youthful accessories and even toys

kinda like ravers or scene kids but a little more extreme, and not for the same reasons

Visual Kei: it's a term used for a japanese movement. during the late 80's a lot of bands that made gothic, punk, metal, anything "alternative"  music, became popular. along with that, their looks consists of very flamboyant, mixture of goth, punk, glam rock, shocking hair and makeup for both genders, kinda like a combo of david bowie, boy george, robert smith, and maybe a little of marilyn manson

does that make sense?  Tongue
