What about darting said abominations and monsters?

(On a side note; they really did have an African safari hunt where you could use tranqs on the animals rather than kill them, not only did the animal live through the experience, but a vet could then take the opportunity to check the animal for illness injury etc. It isn't around anymore, look five posts above to see why.)

Ladies, Gents,et al,

I hasten to assure you all that when the Atomic Cannon (pat,d.) is employed against even the largest abomination, such as a mature bull sky-kraken, it is quite humane. Stand off about three miles, one well placed shot, and it's over in a flash. Literally. A bright one.
Goggles down, please, as you value your optics.

Cheers!

Ummmm...

This is a rather controversial question:

I consider Ingrid Newkirk to be an abomination. Ummmm... Is she under the protection of PETMA?

Yeah, I want to talk to you about that.  Would you please be a little more careful about the locale for that "well placed shot"?  The EMP from the last one stopped my watch.

Although I do like the fact that you care, I do not believe I need to be a part of this group, I can take care of myself after all.

This thread would probably be the place to mention the Fetidus podcast http://www.fetidus.org/
FETIDUS being:
The Foundation for the Ethical Treatment of the Innocently Damned, Undead and Supernatural

-established in 1620 by Johannes Kepler. It is the oldest known advocacy organization in the world that seeks to protect the rights of meta-humans and promote better understanding, peace and compassion among all people, of whatever biological or non-biological form and background. FETIDUS helps protect the rights of zombies (of any type, including type IV), vampires, were-people (such as lycanthropes), non-corporeals, ghouls, hybrids, skidders, genelons of any type, post-humans, semis and supernaturals.

If I may throw a couple of copper coins in of my own.

The world is based on survival of the fittest, it is true. So if a zombie eats your children or postman, that is their survival right! Can you blame a cat for eating a mouse? of course not.

However, we as humans have a right and responsibility to protect ourselves and our own, is that not so?  It is our nature. And a mother's nature is STRONG, ask any bear if you dare.

I propose private reserves for vampires, zombies and other dangerous creatures. Perhaps some run down slums of inner cities that are abandoned, like Detroit now is.  Or places of great human evil, inhabited by soulless, greedy human monsters, Like Washington DC.

Any monsters outside of these preserves would be asked to leave, or trophy hunted, or a time for a good ceremonial, community 'Angry Mob' night. With the traditional torches and Pitchforks handed down for such an occasion.  The mobs would build a sense of togetherness in community and trophy hunts could generate revenue to sustain the reserves.

Harmless or shy monsters, such as yetis, lake monsters, and small woodland barbie dolls would be allowed to remain in their natural habitats.

Krakens, and giant Japanese city crushing monsters, and the like would be dealt with on a individual basis.
