Hello my fellows

Khai's the name and a long time lover of all things Steampunk..

now, I found my way here researching for a long time project I'm working on, and I hope that you fellows can point me at more research materials.

by trade I'm a 3D Modeler and Artist, mainly producing content for Poser and for commission works. and in my spare(?) time I'm a rabid Dr Who fan.. with a love of Verne, Wells etc... and now the 2 are meeting.

if I may demonstrate?
thank you

here is my current private (as in not a saleable project lol) Project.

my TARDIS Console Room

my rationale is, not all the Timelords burned in the Last Time War and one is trapped with a damaged TARDIS in 19th Century New York, rebuilding his Capsule with the local technology..

Hence my asking you fellows for help. I'm working on what to put on the Console. I'm going to be modeling such items as a Hansen Writing Ball (with Gallifreyan Alphabet), a Tickertape printer, old style Valve Bulbs.... but I'm looking for more items to add...

Hope you can help

Nice start.

I'd imagine they'd also incorporate items invented by Mr Tesla.

Some good pictures for inspiration:

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Some more pipes around would be a nice touch.

Well, you could try this:
