Excellent work there Tag - love the 'modularisation' of the whole concept - the first steampunk weapon with interchangable heads.
I always enjoy your well detailed posts and the amazing results of your labour - I like so many others look forward to more.
But first...
... get some sleep - you have earnt it.

Howsabout having the existing engine drive a Wimshurst machine or maybe a Van der Graaf.
Belt drive, big polished sphere, headset with a couple of arcing points placed just above the ears.
Nice effect.

I like that!.. time to start torturing polygons.. Cheers Harold

I'm sure the Polygonian Embassy will have something to say about that.

Too true sir too true!
I added a list of thank you's to the pic post but i will re list it here:
Herr Döktor for his wisdom and amazing dials (gauge faces) capt Wilkerson for the initial brainstorming HAC for his amazing renders for part 2 of this project Mr. Clough for helping me understand that a lathe is not a milling machine =) Sean O'Byrne for pushing me to finish it Toji_Chiba for helping me with a German translation for a decal that is not yet applied Akumibito for his original renders of the project Dr cornelius quack for letting me know even engineers hate drilling holes..lol AND for his wild suggestions =D
EVERYONE for their interest and support during the project!!
THANK YOU!
I also would like to point out that I do not have access to a lot of tools. This was built with a drill, dremel, pipe cutter, soldering iron, glue and, paint. No large power tools. So if i can do it anyone can, just takes a bit longer. I own a drill press and such but they are in storage atm.....god i would kill for a scroll saw!!!!
Anywho carry on!

What an amazing piece of work! Going through the thread and watching it come alive was certainly entertaining. I can't WAIT to see the accompanying pack for it!

Not sure what happened to my reply, so here goes again:
It turned out great, love all the different barrels. It is becoming somewhat a trademark of yours to have exchangeable parts it seems!
The backpack project should be very interesting, HAC has given you quite the challenge!
