Don't know why the one I shipped didn't arrive yet ... I sent it a week ago.
It did arrive! Early in fact. In all my busy running around, I forgot to mention it.

It is likely I will get mine from the US, this means it could be stuck in customs for quite a while...
How does that work exactly? What do you need to do to claim your gift?

It arrived yesterday!! It's gorgeous, and, um, mostly intact, nothing a little glue can't fix. I do hope you get yours soon.

Has everyone shipped their gifts? My mailbox still sits as empty, as a starving air-kraken's belly.

Had a problem with the package's postage, redoing it on Monday with expedited shipping (blasted more expensive, though) because Postal Office closed little less than a hour ago, but I plan on going out again and getting a little something extra to make up for the stupid delay. Let's just say you'll have something to write back to me about, and you'll have a little scene to watch after you keep your place in a book. *snickers*. I won't give more hints to what's in the package, though.

I'm just excited about this event. Please take no offense at my posting. Unless you're wealthier then Captain Nemo, please, don't pay the higher shipping charge.

Two things... - The picture of the gift that I received, per elShoggotho's request. Miss Aetherly is to be congratulated! : - My reply to Captain Zaphod: Tut tut! I took no offense, and I am absolutely apologetic. This foolishness of mine should not have happened - a speedy conveyance of the gift is only proper.

I'm glad to 'hear' that I didn't offend. I know I can come off a bit brusque on the ætherweb. Your sense of propriety is appreciated. Thank you.

I'd like to see them, too...also, when is the next steampunk holiday for which something like this could be arranged?

I plan to post pictures soon, but alas I'm currently on holiday and my gift is back home. And I'm not sure what the next steampunk holiday is, Lucius, but I am very excited for the next exchange.

I would love to post a picture of the lovely brooch I received from Albrecht, but I am having problems with my camera. He snapped some shots before he sent it, so perhaps he would be so kind as to post one of those on my behalf.

I am not on my own computer right now so I cannot upload them, they are rather blurry too, my webcam isn't that good, I shall also send images of lavenderfaes Cavecon-approved wristlets. Edit: I put up a Sepia-modified image of the brooch in my blog a while back (the blog entry), so here it is (sorry about the low quality): Please note the tiny gears at the bottom edge, there's also a chain connecting them but the image is too blurry.
